I preordered the rainbow sky and the clear retro. I like that they have different backgrounds. I would like to order the pink and blue glitter ones and the melon soda from Japan hopefully we can preorder those soon

I have pre-ordered the rainbow sky, the blue bubble, and the clear retro. I cant wait to get them. Id also love to get the blue glitter, pink glitter and the melon soda ones. I have an original melon soda one 😊

I did wonder if we would see it in colour before it was announced - just because another Bandai device was released in colour. Maybe that will be a future update. 😊

I got the bubbles one! I’m waiting on the Japanese shells go up! I also preordered the hello kitty nano with it lol. My husband got the clear retro! Aaaaannnd I got the Sanrio uni too lol

when does the other four in japan get released?? 🥰 + can u mute the tamagotchi connection because my gen 1 can mute i was just wondering if the connections could? 😊

The Japanese shells will be on released August 3rd, so just a little after the US release. I haven't seen if you can mute them yet but I would guess that you could. It would be awful if they didn't include that. 😅

This is so exciting! 😊 I wonder if these new connections will be able to connect with the original connections. Also I wonder if we will get them on Amazon Canada. I’m torn whether I should pre-order from the US site or wait. I’d rather not pay the import fees :/

I worry that they won't be posted on Amazon Canada. The import fees are pretty steep with the exchange from the US unfortunately. And the Amazon Japan shipping fees are also high. I do think Game Stop stocks them, although I don't know if they'll have them for launch day.

@@leanneland that’s what I worry about! I wish they gave us a clear answer about whether or not GameStop will be getting them so I can decide if I should just order on US Amazon now. I don’t want to miss out on waiting but also need to watch my spending haha

Ahh that's really nice! I've heard that the games you play while connecting with other Tama's are more interactive so it would be great to have others to play them with. 😊

Not having the pause on this rerelease turned me off. It was one thing I loved from the original model

It is sad that it won't be included... there is always the option to sort of pause it by putting it on the time clock in the set position. I guess that's an option.

The Japan ones are so nice! I see the retro shell in the US set is already out of stock for preorder. The graffiti pack is a good deal if you plan on getting two. 😊

wait a second. will the tamagotchis fly or not??? wasn't that one of the main differences between the jp and international releases??

@@leanneland its an inside joke in the community. the international connections had the tamagotchis float around the whole screen in idle animatioms while their japanese counterparts are bound to the bottom of the screen.

I know it's not a popular opinion but i never liked tamagotichi. Thought the character designs were weird. Loved the Nano pets and Talking Nanos. Loved the talking nano.
