Hello everyone!! I hope you're all doing well.
Today, I unboxed a Tamagotchi Original that I found the other day at Walmart. I must say, I am enjoying the gameplay. Although it is smaller and outdated compared to my Tamagotchi Pix, I still think it's a fun game to play. What do you guys think? Do you like Tamagotchi Originals? Would you be interested in watching a gameplay video of this Tamagotchi?
Regardless, I hope you enjoyed the video as much as I did making it.

This Tamagotchi is so cute! It is like a real child with the way you can't turn it off cause you cant just silence your children LOL

Do all the originals have rubbery buttons? I'm not crazy about them and don't remember mine having them back in the 90s.

@@lricci007 Hello! Yes, all of the tamagotchi originals have rubber buttons. I’m not sure which tamagotchi you had in the 90s but it could be that yours had plastic buttons. I hope this helps.

Do these new units still die if you feed them candy? I think the original wave from 2018 had that problem.

Hello! Yes, these Tamagotchis can die if you only feed them candy. Unfortunately candy only raises its happy and not it’s hunger, so your Tamagotchi would die of starvation.

@@_milkbread thanks for the answer, but I meant it as, in the 2018 re-releases sometimes they’ll start getting sick and randomly die young if you feed them even as little as one or two candies- Not feeding them only candy but any candy at all

@@AbeM. Thank you for the clarification, I apologize for misunderstanding your question. While I’m unsure of whether this bug has been fixed, I do know that these tamagotchis can still get sick randomly from feeding them candy as a child. I know for older tamagotchis units feeding them candy as a child is discouraged. I’m not sure why that is but I do know that candy can give them toothaches (which can be cured with medicine). I hope this answered your question. ´･ᴗ･`

@AbeM. This happened to me yesterday, I was feeding mine candy for happiness every now and again and he just randomly died very young

Not necessarily. Tamagotchis require the most attention as newborns and elders, just like real pets. So when your Tamagotchi becomes a teenager or adult, they will require less attention. I hope that helps ! (´･ᴗ･`)
