Also yes it saves your file! That’s what’s so great about the new tamas- you can change the battery and not worry about losing any progress

A lot of adults refer back to this English language that was taught throughout the schooling years, especially when socializing and in public as these abbreviations often do not compute well. For any further info contact bookstores in your area to begin your search for a dictionary 🙃.

Hi Michael thank you again for the support and the comment! I really do appreciate it so much! Why not get both? Haha! I see the dilemma here, that's a tough decision to make. Canada didn't get the Tamagotchi PIX? I thought Canada got the same devices as the US but sometimes released later on. Maybe I'm wrong? Either way, I really do love the Tamagotchi PIX so I am very biased here. I would say get it, you get used to the touch buttons but they do act up even after you are used to them. It often confuses the B button for the C button for me and I end up canceling an action that I didn't want to. Let me know what you end up deciding! I too have the Digimon Vital bracelet imported from Japan and saw that the app is all English now! I am super behind on videos and need to film that one still, but I should have a video about the digimon someday soon ;) Thank you again, I just love chatting about virtual pets!!

@@JillGrygas Me too. I’m a Tamagotchi/Digimon obsessed gaymer!! So is my husband. We both love the Vital Bracelet. And I’d say my absolute favourite Tamas are my Devil Gotch & Angel Gotch (both pristine and with original packaging. I really lucked out on those). I did actually about an hour ago order the white Tamagotchi Smart off eBay. I couldn’t resist, the 1996 sprites had me! And knowing I can get the smart cards along with Digimon cards off Amazon JP later on sealed the deal. I might get a Pix eventually and hopefully if the Tamagotchi Smart gets a smartphone app, it’ll be updated to English too! As for Canada not getting the Pix…we got the On device but not the Pix. I’d have to import using Amazon US which is fine but still costs import fees.

@@michaelwiseman4334 I think you made a great decision. I love the PIX but I think the Smart will hold our attention longer, and you are right, who can resist the 1996 sprites! Thank you for the nice comment! I appreciate it :) Once you are past the baby stage you can no longer feed your tamagotchi the milk bottle. You should definitely keep at it! When it becomes an adult it doesn't like to eat the bagel anymore. You can go to the restaurant and feed it different things to find out what it likes! It is definitely very different from Tamagotchi Forever but I think you can still have fun with it!

I'm curious. Did you keep up? Are you still using your Pix?

That is a really interesting observation! I'll try looking into this more. I've been good about making sure my Pix doesn't die, but my Pix Party recently died so I'll take a look and see what background screen that one has.

I did a little research and it looks like there isn't a way to change the language in the settings menu. You can reset the device by pushing the reset button on the back of the device (it should be below the camera and you will need something long and small to get it). After you reset it you can fully reset the entire thing and start over. There will be an option to keep your current settings and you don't want that. The top option should be continue and the bottom should be reset all. Let me know if this helps!

Hi Stardust! You cannot get married in the Tamagotchi Pix. After about 7 days your Tamagotchi will ask to return home to the Tamagotchi planet.

Hi! I'm not following what happened to your Tamagotchi. Did you change out the batteries when this happened? I feel like I've accidentally set mine to pet mode and I was still able to make the album after and send it home.

Hi Elementro! Unfortunately you can't turn the volume down. You can turn it off though! When you go into the menu on the second page there is a gear looking icon. That is your settings. In there there is an option for "sound". Select that and you will be able to turn the sound off.

Hi Lenka! Yes, if you were to buy a Tamagotchi Pix from someone and put in some new batteries there will be two options when you get started. One is "Continue" and the other is "Reset". If you choose "Reset" it will delete all the information from the previous owner and you will be able to start everything over. I hope this helps!

Yes always use the sitter if you are too busy to take care of your Tamagotchi!

Hi Bee! There is no way to turn it the tamagotchi. If you want to conserve the batteries and not use it you will have to take them out. I suggest getting a set of rechargeable batteries!

Hi Gaby! That's a great question. Depending on which type of Tamagotchi you have, this is true. For the Tamagotchi Pix your Tamagotchi will try to go home after 7 or 8 days. If it dies before that then you neglected it at some point and it passed away. For some types of Tamagotchi they will die of old age, like the original Tamagotchi and the Tamagotchi Connection.

Oh no I'm so sorry! Yeah if you push the reset button it will erase all your progress. If I remember right hold down the left button while tapping the right button to get a new egg.

That is honestly the worst when they die right as you were going to make their albums. I found that you can't leave them for too long after they ask otherwise they will die! :(

That's so exciting! I think by now you've learned that your Tamagotchi will evolve after about a day or so to the teen stage and then another day or so to an adult. Which adult did you get?

Are you trying to figure out how to restart an original tamagotchi after it dies? I think if you hold down the A and C buttons you should get a new egg!

If you reset all it's like when you first got it and you had to put all your information in. Nothing you did previously will be saved if you reset all.

You have to be careful when you reset it though you usually have to start over like it was brand new! I don't like to lose my progress so I will start it over by doing the button combo: Hold down the right button while tapping the left.

Oh no! Resetting it is okay too, but the button trick is a bit easier to get it to restart :)

Sounds like you took really good care of it! If your Tama loves you it won't leave after 7 days and will stay with you basically forever. I think the only way to get a new one is to let this one die. I've never gotten one to stay past 8 days though so it sounds like you are a great tama parent!

Yes that is all it takes. The same thing happened to me when I was traveling last week. I checked it before we left and then not again until we got home 12 hours later and it was dead :(
