One thing ive learned about taking care of calatheas. If you think maayos pa ang roots kahit wala na yang dahon. It will bounce back basta alagaan mo lang continuously

I have around 30 varieties. For potting mix i'm using 50% Loam soil, 20 rice chaff, 15% vermicast, and 15% coco coir. There are some varieties that will thrive even when placed under direct sunlight especially if planted directly on the ground, however, the watering should be more frequent especially during summer.
