Well done. I will be doing the Tamara Way as a walk over a few days later this year.

There are many lovely sections along the route. A route so long there are obviously road sections joining bits together. Enjoy it all and hope it goes well.@@user-cm7kt9xp8k

Thanks for this video, oddly enough years ago myself and a friend began to plan a Tamer River walk from source to Sea but never began it. I plan to use this walk to do just that! But I will start it the other end from your route. I've already explored much of the lower parts as I growed up in that area and cycled and walked lots of it. That train to Gunnislake is so cool, you have to stop the train at some stops like you do a bus by sticking your hand out. Subbed!

The whole route was pretty cool. Lots to experience. Yes the train is worth. Was suprised how busy the train was.

Wow that’s a wonderful fantastic effort, just back from a few days walking the trail in a few roundish loops, staying near Derriford ,rather wet and muddy , do a bit of trail running myself but nothing of that length ..

Thanks for the video, I started trying to do a similar walk in 2021 but the other way around. (And at walking pace, I'm not quite as fit as you!). Gave up after 3 days and 25 miles frustrated by obstructed and unsigned public footpaths and mad motorists going to fast on narrow country lanes. I had hoped the Tamara Way had solved this problem but it looks from your video that there are still a few problems with the route.

Its worth trying the other way. The Cremyl bit you can loop from Plymouth, catch the foot ferry then the car ferry. The next section is better, train to Plymouth then train back from Bere Alston. Yes there are some lanes, but its is worth it. I agree the last part, your first part is busy road especially if done in the summer. I do recommend another go. You will enjoy it.

Great video. Thanks for making and sharing it with us. I could feel your painful feet! One question. Your camera, did you hold it in your hand or in a chestmount or a headmount, or a mixture of all three?!

Thanks. Its a hand held GoPro. The camera has a stability feature that keep the film stable. So its good for action filming.

On its own I agree, but for me it is part of the whole journey and you cannot complete it if you miss those bits out.
