This is a walking tour of downtown Tamarindo Costa Rica in the Guanacaste province of northern Costa Rica. We start out in the downtown area and walk down to the beach. At the end of the tour we do a booze cruise out into the bay on a catamaran. This area is popular with tourist best it is close to Liberia International Airport.

Tamarindo is a district of the Santa Cruz canton, in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, located on the Nicoya Peninsula. The town of Tamarindo is the largest developed beach town in Guanacaste. Main attractions in the area are surfing and eco-tourism.

Costa does look like it has its own vibe. A mix of Hawaii and Mexico. Kinda gives me lilo & stitch disney movie vibes 😂❤❤❤ would be cool to visit Tamarindo! They even have horses on the beach!

Weird comment by the host--"Mexico is its big brother" around 6.30". CR really has nothing to do culturally/politically/lifestyle-wise with Mexico (and it's much less corrupt). And Mexican restaurants aren't really representative of either country btw.... Either way, the food is very different in CR as is just about everything else--even the way Spanish is spoken. PS "pura vida" can also mean, "thank you" or many other things, it is kind of like "aloha" or the "aloha spirit" you find in Hawaii. I love Mexico as well but the two are very different amigo--acculturation helps a lot (hint). Spend some solid time there, you'll see the differences.

I am Costa Rican (and US/American and Canadian, yes I have three passports), and we don't have much in common with Mexico, apart from speaking Spanish and being a part of Latin America. And definitely, PURA VIDA, is NOT a Mexican expression. It is as Costa Rican as you can get. All the Latin American countries are different. They are not mini-Mexicos. In fact, in speech, in food, and culturally, Costa Ricans are much closer to Colombians than to Mexicans. Overall, liked your video.

It is not necessary for you to come, it is enough with the more than 3 million inhabitants who visit this beautiful paradise that concentrates more than 5% of the biodeiversity of the planet. Whose economy is fundamentally based on the tourism and export of medical and high-tech devices, being among the world's largest producers in the life sciences industries, with the longest life expectancy, surpassing the United States and many countries in the world. First world. Bye Bye...
