Tamd 60c . Taking out injectors for repair with homemade puller

Today, I finally began to remove the injectors. I found out that the thread in the top of the injector, where the screw for pulling them out shall go is fine thread M8x1,0 mm. I only brought M8x1,25 so I'll have to continue another day. Couldn't find any M8x1,0 screws at Biltema or Bauhaus either so I when I got home, I cut a thread myself with a threading die in the non threaded end of a partially threaded M8x1,25 screw. Next time I go to my boat, I think it will work.

I use old bolt That holds the return line. Cost nothing at volvo dealer

Very nice, I will do that soon. Maybe I make the tool by bending a flat iron into an inverted elongated U instead of a pipe, or a pipe with a larger cut out on one side. Then I can leave the fuel nipple on the injector but I guess the nipple comes loose easily so it doesn't matter much.

If you take loose the nipple remember there is a flat washer in there.

I made it. Only a piece of pipe with diameter so ypu don't pull up the sleeve. A old bolt for return line welded to a longer bolt with a nut. Easy made

@@Birchwood320 I need one as I need to replace the copper sleeve. I can't get my injectors out. Fancy making one for my volvo penta 2002 . Obviously for a price . Cheers Jack
