Tame Impala is definitely on my list of artists I'll never forget about.

This deserved to be on the album.

The wedding bells add a really nice touch to this song, they fit perfectly thematically with the possibility of marrying the person he's trying to forget about. The overarching theme of "what could have been" is pretty Central to the album, really stings in a bittersweet way.

The way he stops saying forget at the end of each verse is pure art. Thank you Kevin, this song came into my life at the perfect time. The illusion of my entire friend group faded away this month and they basically showed me that they never liked me and never wanted me around. Solitude truly can be bliss. I'm happier than I've been in years.

That bit between 1:30-2:00 and its second repeat is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. Truly up there with Pink Floyd feels.

This song quickly became one of, if not my favourite Tame Impala Songs. The Vocals, Drums and Synths are all layered together perfectly and each element is like a Journey in itself. That entire section from 3:14 onwards just puts me in a Trance-like State and takes me to another Place. Kevin is a Genius!

Tame Impala has a lot of songs that just make you feel like you're floating in a galaxy. So wide and beautiful. The echoes and the instrumental itself help in that. This one and Feels Like We Only Go Backwards are examples of this - and masterpieces. Edit: Oh, and 'Cause I'm a Man is a masterpiece too.

I connected with a human in a very enlightening way a few months ago but we eventually had to leave each other because of work and the first few weeks were just physically and spiritually hard for me to get unused to that human; and even though I've been better than before, the feeling just refuses to vanish from within. So I started listening to this to help me get through it, and it is working wonders. I adore Kevin's music so much because of how it makes me feel. I am sitting on my rooftop right now and it is late at night and I can already see inside me how I've grown from that feeling. I am getting back to my own silence and nothingness; it's very freeing.

Kevin’s talking about a list of people. It blew my mind when I realized while he’s talking about his list of people certain parts of the song sound like Christmas music. Like a Christmas list but with a different purpose instead of things that you want

I have been listening to this everyday, at least every other hour, for the last week or two. Tame Impala has that magic to create songs that rope you in and tie a tether that just keeps you coming back.

Tame feel-pala

I gotta feeling this song will be helping me cope for a long while, known about this song since it came out, well I grew to like it more given my situation. You talk to someone, it doesn't work, you stay friends and end up best friends for almost a year, everything's there except what makes a relationship, you click so well, are one in the same, you try to move on while remaining such close friends but the inevitable happens, you realize you'll never let go in that kind of way if you keep her close like you do, and it'll only hurt you when you're not around her to take it off your mind in a way. Ended the friendship today, I owe it to myself to do what's best for me, I really did value our friendship, a part of me wanted to keep it just that, but the other part of me wanted more, willing to suffer and wait around hoping that one day she'll change her mind about it. Point is, I did what I definitely did not want to do, but needed to do. Shits hard, you stay on a loop with someone, convincing yourself you can move past it and be best friends, but how can I even be a friend when in reality I want more, the friendship but also the love to to go along with it. Of all my years on this bloody planet, well what I felt for her was much more than all the past lovers, never fell in love with someone before and had that sense of friendship there, hell really close friendship. One of the hardest things for me to move past too, well now will be. It's lingered on my mind for a while too, if I'd be better off without, of how much of a struggle it all really was for me, nearly killed me.
