The Republic of China Army (ROCA), previously known as the Chinese Nationalist Army or Nationalist Revolutionary Army and unofficially as the Taiwanese Army, is the largest branch of the Republic of China Armed Forces. An estimated 80% of the ROC Army is located on Taiwan, while the remainder are stationed on the Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu, Dongsha and Taiping Islands.
The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is the principal military force of the People's Republic of China and the armed wing of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The PLA consists of five service branches: the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, and Strategic Support Force. It is under the leadership of the Central Military Commission (CMC) with its chairman as commander-in-chief.

战争开始：1、无人机群升空，诱导地面雷达开机，反辐射导弹，配合远火定点清除式打击雷达，机场，滩头永固工事。2、J20辅助J16电战，超视距打掉升空作战的F16V，空警500辅助轰6K，炸毁机场，指挥部，物资补给仓库及地面远火，机械装甲部队。3、054,052,055,075,摧毁台海军战力，炮火压制滩头地面机动防御部队。5、两栖部队登陆，扫清残余，陆军开始登陆。至于航母，早已大编队开进巴士海峡，辅以DF监控外援去了，打造拒止圈去了，不会参与登岛作战。没UP主设想的这么惨烈，首战24小时结束。

Military analysts have predicted a Chinese invasion would involve a huge barrage of missiles which would destroy most of the Taiwanese Navy and Airforce. The remaining ground forces would defend Taiwan. The US would help Taiwan defend against the invasion from China and analysts have predicted the US would be able to stop the Chinese but at a very big cost.

I honestly believe the civil defense forces as in the civil militias would be on the ground more than the army cause they would be the ones rite on the ground during the invasion but this was a great video you did, this takes a lot of work to do and you did an awesome job

The basic war logic should be to first bomb fixed missile launch bases, radars, air defense facilities, and airports, then send drones to scout, the army to gather signs or armored weapons, cover the bombing line with cheaper long-range rockets, or accurately bomb with slightly expensive precision-guided missiles, and then send airborne troops to scout. The investigation team/reconnaissance robot returns the attack effect, and further guides the bombing target on the ground until there is no large-scale resistance force or defense line at the landing point. In the video, the low-altitude attack on the ground target with stealth fighters is a suicide that cannot occur in reality. There are only two functions of stealth fighters: 1 long-range elimination of enemy non-stealth fighters, and 2 protection of early warning aircraft, transport aircraft and bombers. The video is well done, but even Palestine will not commit suicide or waste weapons like this.

My one issues is why you are landing light armored patrol car in the first wave, during an amphibious assault. Those are after you secure a beachhead then you start landing them

Dude, it's called war gaming. You take known information about two opposing sides and factor it into a scenario to see how it would possibly play out. It helps militaries train and prepare for operations. It's a learning experience. Not a sign of our doom.

Not sure if this is what you mean but hcpookie has made some awesome mods involving PLA forces and boats. Searching “Pook” in the steam workshop might do you some good. Sorry if this doesn’t help.

内战不能称为入侵，我不认为在摧毁岸防和取得空优以前会登陆。当然，战争肯定是残酷的，如果真的开始，只会以胜利结束 The civil war cannot be called an invasion. I don't think there will be a landing until the coastal defenses are destroyed and air superiority is achieved. Of course, the war must be cruel. If it really starts, it will only end in victory.

Kinman actually belongs to Taiwan along with mazu and penghu, and the Taiwanese train in the beginning is actually a Chinese locomotive. Other than that good video

I think it's based on the prerequisite that Kinmen is under PLA's control and is used as the frontmost base to prep for invasion, and at that point Taiwan is under military curfew and the ROC army is preparing to counter-offence. That's why the streets are empty with only military vehicles presence.

Kinmen is ruled under Fujian province of ROC. Different province from Taiwan in either ROC or PRC.

The first stage of war would be massive amount of all sort of missiles fly in the sky (since they got world biggest advanced missile system 'DF system') and satellites guide precision rockets launched from vehicle included their world first deployed hypersonic missiles such as DF-17 DF-27 etc. And many unleaked crazy stuff might also join the first strike, fight for air superiority and electromagnetic superiority or hit some other high-value targets.

Exactly. Those who believe the Chinese will try to land troops in Taiwan at the beginning of the offensive are in La La Land waiting for the next foodstamps. The Chinese do not need to land or even engage Taiwanese military directly. They will bombard and island for weeks, destroying energy infrastructures and forming a complete maritime and airspace blockage of the island. This is the reality of logicsitcs. They will starve the island within a few months without sending a single troop over.

Not simulated: the 95% casualty rate of airborne troopers jumping into a dense urban environment. And that's just from collisions and other jump injuries.

Yeah dropping behind enemy lines was proven to already be outdated in market garden 1944. The only practical use for paratroopers would be to reinforce friendly lines once the beaches and air are already controlled

Nice simulation, but some odd points though, I doubt China would do a chopper gun run with all those buildings around which can hide shoulder mounted AA squads in pretty much everywhere. Not to mention the elevation that also make heavier caliber gun team setup in high rise buildings could deal pretty heavy damage to aircrafts doing low altitude gun run(if not disable it fully). Edit: Which is what is happening later on in the videos, just finished watching it, lol I also doubt Taiwan will engage in jet fights in the first day of combat since they are outnumbered pretty badly, not to mention with all those AA support from the ships on sea. Unless U.S lent a lot of jets and their pilots. Even then, the casualties will be staggering. All in all China would lose significant chunks of their army and economies by invading Taiwan currently. Which will make them vulnerable to the other nations around it that is ready to join the fray at any moments. But seriously, amazing work, cool fights, keep it up!
