2007 I visited Singapore. From there we went to a trip to kusu island, there I saw Bodhi Dharmar statue n Buddha statue. I told my cousin that he should be a indian that to mainly tamilan. They all shouted at me on seeing his features looking as a Chinese. His hairstyle n dress in the statue s like a Chinese. When 7am arivu released everybody realised that he s tamilan and his history. Dear Dr.Kabilan, the eight steps (Eight Angas) of Ashtanga Yoga (Raja Yogam) are in this order (1) Yama (2) Niyama (3) Asana (4) Pranayama (5) Pratyahara (6) Dhiyana (7) Dharana & (8) Samadhi. Meditation (Dhyana) is continuously thinking of One Object. Abstract Object like light is preferred and advised to shift the thinking from material objects (Sthoola) to abstract objects (Light) to realise Causal body (Karana Sariram) and Sukshuma Sariram during waking state. Concentration is nothing but FOCUS. Only by meditation we can get concentration, that is focus. Once focus is directed towards Goal (Lakshya), our physical, causal, abstract bodies start functioning towards attaining Goal (GOD). Samadhi as we think is not a physically still state of meditation but a FREE SOUL put to rest within our Hearts during our journey towards GOD. When soul is freed from all its entanglements, starts guiding us towards GOD (Union with God). Samadhi is a dynamic state of meditation while all outer actions are performed with a meditative state inside.
