You also could make up the brownie mix with a regular mix and pour half in the pan then melt chocolate chips in microwave and pour the melted chips on the first layer then pour the remaining batter on top and bake to perfection. ☺

God... I love brownies, especially when they are hot with fudge in it, or frosting on top!! Homemade frosting is the best! Yummm... this reminds me of Old Country Buffet lava cake in away.

I think so. lol I had to look it up and get the recipe! I think its called Hot fudge pudding cake now. Its soo good. So many recipes for it. The one made in the slow cooker looks even better! Makes me want to cook it.

makes me think of a hot fudge sundae cake i used to eat, it would have components of this brownie along with lots of warm gooey hot fudge and whipped cream on it. it was so dreamy.

Yum......looks delicious. To make these not using the box kit....we thought maybe using chocolate fudge frosting in the middle might work.

I can personally vouch for the Nutella. I once made some where I used a little bit of nutella mixed in with the batter and then the rest of the jar went on the top as frosting. YUM!

My mom makes brownies from scratch. I haven't had boxed brownie mix since I was like 3 years old. Not that I'm complaining. Homemade always tastes better.

The mix as-is, is pretty good. Thing is, you'll want to do something like not baking it for over 35 min. ( a little much!)
