Anveshippin kandethum, Aattam were also successful. Total 6 success movies till now this year.

@@jayarajcg2053 attam was made at a very low budget. Plus after the film festival screening and word of mouth. Inspite of the theatrical average performance. The OTT business made it successful!

The biggest example is you can take drishyam. When it was ready to be remade in Tamil. Rajni said no because it had scenes where police will thrash him. And he said no because his fans won’t like it. That shows the difference!

What's the budget of Drishyam in Malayalam n what cld have been the budget of Drishyam remake in tamil if Rajni sir had acted?

@@rsv6603 lmao there is no connection for budget here. The remake rights were sold and Tamil drishyam was produced by Tamil producers only. And ofc the Tamil budget will be higher for Rajni. It’s just Rajni didn’t want to do it cos of fans!

@@Ashmith_shiv No, u did not understand my point. I am asking- can Tamil film makers create low budget excellent content like Drishyam with known faces here? Leave out the remakes. What is Loki doing? From Kaithi, most of his movies r Hollywood inspired but without paying copyrights. Y Loki is putting a thanks card instead of buying the rights? Is it ethical?

@@rsv6603 that’s what, if it was Rajni in drishyam there would sure be unwanted elevation scenes and bigger budget. The movies of the top tier actors in Tamil has been so corporatized, I think it will be impossible for them to make something in a small budget with good content that common people of Tamil Nadu can resonate!

Only one reason quality of audience If you have any doubts then compare this remake movies manichithra thazhu with chandramukhi, feel the difference,but now changing Tamil audience mindset , in Malayalam film industry director and script writer is more powerful in the set .hero never interfere the director and script writer role but Tamil not

Don't worry guys u guys are in right path. The change in tamil audience viewing perspective will make the directors to do good movies. It's all about the audience, if a bad films make profits they will make more bad filims or average films. I Like that Tamil audience wants good films(worth for money) now ,it will make directors to make good films. And I think 2025 will be Tamil Industry's year

Thats true... They have a very egoistic mind.... When manjummal boys was a hit .... A lot of tamils have that ego boiling and they would adress "its a nice movie like aram ".... It shows that tamil people have ego... In their mind its like " we have done this before ,, aram was way before manjummal boys... So we are superior..." But aram is a cheap copy of malootty (1990) Malayalam movie... They dont know that..😅 When " the goat life " was released...
