Welcome to my channel Tamil Trekker! In this video, I'm taking you on a journey to (Kyoto) Nara are both beautiful cities in Japan, known for their rich history, culture, and traditions. Nara Park is particularly famous for its wild deer population, which are considered sacred in Japanese culture. Mochi is a popular Japanese sweet made from glutinous rice, and it's definitely worth trying while you're there.
In Kyoto, you could visit famous temples like Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavilion), and Kiyomizu-dera, all of which offer breathtaking views and are deeply rooted in Japanese history. You could also explore the traditional streets of Gion, which is known for its geisha culture and traditional architecture.
In Nara, aside from visiting Nara Park and its friendly deer, you could explore the ancient temples and shrines, such as Todai-ji, which houses the largest bronze statue of Buddha in the world, and Kasuga-taisha, which is famous for its thousands of lanterns. You could also take a stroll along the charming streets of Naramachi, a traditional district filled with old-style buildings and shops.
And of course, while you're in Kyoto and Nara, don't forget to try some mochi! There are many different types of mochi, from sweet to savory, and it's often enjoyed as a snack or dessert. You could try daifuku, which is filled with sweet bean paste, or kinako mochi, which is coated in roasted soybean powder.
