Fun fact, the Devs designed the otter to spawn around dangerous areas to make you rage quit. Hence why it's not just a fish and done, it's multiple trips of fish, in a dangerous area where a slight breeze kills him

Something I figured out that depending on what hat you give your Otter it adds or subtracts from the insulation buff. Use fur armour for best results

I was 1 fish away from taming the otter and my dimetrodon came to eat the fish and hit the otter and killed it... I grabbed the dimetrodon and threw him next to a shark and told him to stay still, he got a slow agonising death for his crimes

Once I was gathering raw fish meat to tame a argy in a swamp and I got sidetracked when I saw this little guy and decided to tame him at the time

I love the the otter it was so hard to tame though lol kept moving 😅 and caused me to get aggroed and killed lol

Something I have heard other experienced ark survivalist say, is that otters also insulate hypotheramal rates. Not only hyperthermal rates

Make veggie cakes and passive tame. Put the cakes in your last slot in the hot bar and walk behind it, feeding it every now and again
