The first time I tamed the wolf, I thought the wolf is gonna be so strong that I don't need to take care of it going out in night.Spent roughly 1 hour taming one.First night out,didn't take care of it,thought it could handle anything thrown to it.Saw it fighting a greydwarf brute,I continue chopping my tree while looking at it fight.That poor thing died right in front of my eyes.LMAO

I didn't take mine out until I had a few bred, didn't want to risk losing it and having to tame it again. If you can find one with 2 star 🌟 they hit harder and have more health.

@@chrisMengland yep, learnt it the hard way. But luckily I didn't really needed them since I go to most place by portals and they don't go through the portal anyway, so naturally I don't care. But maybe it is just because I am still in Iron age. Tame that poor little thing in Bronze age.

If it was a started one it's because they despawn during the day if not confined. You have to breed the started to have started pups and the pups won't just despawn like that ;)
