btw i tamed like this months ago and ....u dont need more than one arrow shoot one dodo arrow and when it lose aggro then hit it with ur ptera and it will again aggro

a way to improve your trap is use a large bear trap ( think it works) then place one behind and on either side thing is tho if he/ she was tranqing it the whole time instead of trapping it it would have been knocked out

i actually tamed a lvl219 quetzal and used that blue arrow I forgot it name it cost me around 50 arrow

My friend was so Lucky he just found a Max Level Quetz flying around!I dont know exactly what the Max Level is but the one he tamed was a 180 and After the tame Level 225 Edit: The quetz got attacked a lot of times

Easy way to tame quetz the most easiest way without any amber 1.Use casual+normal setting to get dinos upto level 150 with only 20% xp reductions 2.Get enough level to unlock fur armor 3.Get full fur armor and get to yeti cave 4.Put a bed and do cave(Speedrun) 5.After reaching the end you get alot of xp at least upto level 70 with that alone 6.Do all taming pruritis(tame raptor ect) until you get pursuit for getting quetz 7.Get any low level melee+mid speed flying dino 8.Make 200 narcs+5 grapples 9.Start pursuit and go to red ob 10.Kill all low levels(>130) 11.After finding high level put a bed down Right beneith it and sleep 12.GO TO IT FAST BEFORE IT GETS OUT OF RENDER 13.Go on ground and grapple on your flyer then put it on target quetz(make sure your close to it) 14.Knock it out 15Tame it

I would recommend taming quetzal and cancel the quest and tame another one and cancel the quest and breed them and get a fully mutated quetzal and start the quest

using behemoth gate frame is best option bcz they cant fit inside small gateframes

Maybe you just tame a Tapejara to make it easy to tame a Quatzal

Easier to just knock out a low level quetz, pump speed and put a platform saddle on it. Then follow the wild one and shoot from the saddle.

How do you get the damage to show when you hit the quetzal?

The trapping method you used isn't really for taming a quetzal that's why you failed lot's of times but in the end it worked

When im tamming flyers or land dinos im always crazy that i just get about 300 narcotics and 10 stacks of food and tranq darts plus long neck riffle and a ascendants shot gun to protect the tame i want with 100 shot gun bullets plus never use traps and just let it chase me until knocked out im just crazy
