Annnnnnd you’re feral. You need to be domesticated, so you’ve been put in a cage with some dodgy yandere ASMR guy running tests on you until you can behave like a decent whatever you are. I find the crossover between ASMR and BDSM really fascinating. About a week ago we had pinwheels, sensory play and sensory deprivation, which are common in the community. As a BDSM blogger who is more into the psychologies than the sex stuff, I find it really intriguing how many people are kinky, highly sensitive/empathic and also experience ASMR. It's also interesting how many people are drawn to medical-type roleplays and say that they would not play nice under such circumstances, myself most certainly included. Casual observations of course, guys 😉

I completely agree. Without going into too much detail, it's a world I definitely try to incorporate elements of into what I make. Logically, sensory manipulation and stimulation are under the same umbrella - as is the usual conflation with with sex. It can all be independent. Wow, that's the most pretentious message I've written in a while, sorry! It's a round about way of saying 'yes' 😅

@@JimASMR oh absolutely. I always try to deviate away from the sex side of things in a sort of "yes but not really" kind of way. Unfortunately such is life that anything remotely "kinky" is almost automatically connected to sex, but dopamine and serotonin are also released from say, a massage, which in my opinion is more like what ASMR and BDSM is. For me and in what I try to implicate and share with my readers, BDSM is and can be more of a kind of twisted therapy, it's all a matter of perception. I've also dabbled with ASMR myself under the name of EnglishTinglesASMR, found that I rambled far too much, and gave up. The Blue Yeti now lies dormant in my bottom drawer 😂 NB. Do note also, cats don't make a fraction of the noise that a Jack Russell Terrier can make. His barks on a sensitive mic could blow out an eardrum 😉

Whatever I am, I'm 100% sure I would not have played nicely. :p It was an interesting scenario to consider though, imagining myself as some kind of rare alien hybrid this character's trying to domesticate to sell as a pet.

Honestly a very early portion of my life was spent in Doctor's offices for various reasons, from a Melange of medical issues to testing certain aspects of my biology due to my heart being in the wrong place (some of my organs are actually very misplaced actually) I immediatley associate this type of clinical tone with ASMR before i knew what ASMR was. This sort of scenario gets me tingly

Hey Jim, I commented a year ago when I first found this video, and I wanted to come back and let you know how much this video has helped me. It’s helped me narrow down issues I want to focus on (mostly ptsd around physical a***e and neglect), as well as helping me figure out little space and regression really helps me! And not only that, but with that new knowledge I started going to therapy and expressing my struggles and my feelings more. I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, but I think that’s part of the first steps to admitting I need help. Thank you, and I hope you and everyone who sees this comment are well
