A short review of a classic "vintage" Tamiya kit from 1971. Tamiya's "Identical Scale" German Parachuter figure kit, Kit No. MM112.
This very early Tamiya figure kit, includes parts for 4 Fallschirmjager figures, including weapons and accessories. Includes simple, one sheet, assembly instructions and "Back of Box" suggested uniform painting schemes. No Decal Sheet is included.

Oh I remember these bring back great memories I built most of the early military miniature series my mom and dad used to buy them for me as Xmas presents bless them I still build and paint military miniatures now it's amazing how much stuff there is now I'm currently completing two young miniatures busts and about to start air brushing a tamiya panther g

I've got this set as the 'added' figures to a 1972 Stug III Ausf G kit, that I have in my stash. I built one back in the late 70's when I first started. I built many of the old Tamiya kits in those days, they will always have a special place!

Same here, a simple diorama with these 4 figures back in the early 1970s. I love the old, inexpensive tanks and vehicles. They're great for kit bashing.

Well, Must admit I was a few years older than you when I first built this one back when it first came out, (I turned 67 in May this year). Sometimes these old kits make me wonder where it all went! Cheers mate!

This are the same figures that come in the first boxing of tamiya original stug iii kit.

Thank you for this. I knew that they'd been included with another early '70's Tamiya kit but couldn't think which one. I completely forgot about the old Stug III. Now I've got another oldie to keep an eye out for! Cheers!

Nice video - I like these old Tamiya kits. You're right about the stances - Tamiya seem to do that a lot. You'll get 4 or 5 figures engaged in ferocious combat and then another one just standing to attention or quick marching :) Makes it hard to use them all in one diorama.

Same. I'm always on the lookout for the old ones. Brings back some good memories. This particular kit has always stood out for me as far as unusual poses, because that one figure came with a proper "museum style" base to stand on. Very odd. Glad you liked the video! Cheers!
