In this video I'm building "Tamiya" 1/72 f-35a lightning ii Scale Model Aircraft. This is the one of the best scale model airplane kits for beginners too.

Wonderful model and excellent video. I dont think i could add gold paint to my clear part though, that took nerves!

Thank you so much for your comment!! Actually I failed several times in the past where I completely blocked the view of canopy 😆 I’m still very careful when painting it!

You could try Vallejo paints thinned with water + wet palette for your brush painting details, see "Duncan Rhodes" or similar figure painters.

BRAVO! Probably the best modeling "how to video I" have seen in months. What took longer, building the kit or editing this fantastic video?🏁 Kaz, when you have to fill fuselage seams on aircraft, what technique do you use? Do you have a video on this process?

Thank you so much for your comment and compliment! It means a lot to me, really appreciate. In terms of of seams filling, I use TAMIYA cement . Put a little more than usual and press them. Then materials melt together. I do not have much but see link below. If the gap is really big, I would use putty to fill them. After applying surfacer, use sand paper to erase seams. Then surfacer primer again. Repeat it until the seam is gone. I hope it answers your question. Very nice build, however, use color pencils fpr tinting windows and canopies. The result will surprise you…

Thank you so much for your comment! It means a lot to me! as to 1/32 F18 or F14, I have not done that. every time I go tamiya shop, it looks GREAT but never had a chance to buy one.

Hello~ what a great work! I would like to ask if I want to make this kit into a flight state with all the landing gear retracted. Is there any way to do it? I don't know how to deal with the four latches in the opening of the nose landing gear storage compartment.

Hello thank you so much for your comment! Yes you can choose flight mode with all of landing gear retracted. There are several parts prepared for with/without landing gear or sometimes different parts prepared. I hope those answered your questions. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks!
