I’m a teacher now and kids are obsessed with Fortnite. They would sit and talk about it for hours or even days. I am worried about what behaviours the game has bought out in them. But I can relate to that obsession. My fortnite was these cars. I could argue about the hotshot vs the frog for hours. I was shattered when my battery vented when it discharged. I sweated for months about whether to get the wild one or the fast attack vehicle. I had to travel a long way to get to a decent hobby shop in the eighties. And if the store wasn’t playing these videos I would be mad as hell. An angry sulking 15 year old.
