I went out & bought a neo fighter after watching your video, like you I installed 14 1150 bearings, CVA dampers, & installed a Sport Tuned black motor. Have it all built now just need to take it on a run. A very useful video. Many thanks...

I just ordered one of these cars last night and from what I see on here I like it. Just got done building a Frog few days ago and since a kid I love these cars. Love Tamiya over any other RC company out there.

I have just brought one of these cars too and what I found is that if you have the throttle half way it g9es faster than full on the receiver that is btw and it has held a lot of crashes the only down side is the body is really flimsy and weak so it breaks easy

Thanks for the warning on the body. Haven't built mine yet. Don't have room for it since I have so many built now lol. And still have about 8 more to build

Great video. I'm new to RC and I really wanted to buy a kit buggy that was easy to build and good quality. I've ordered one along with all the option parts to play around with. The bearings and shock upgrade are definitely a must have!

This is a nice video. You have a nice Civic! I like how you change ballbearings right on the parking spot like you change your battery or something. Enjoyed watching this keep it up JDM :)

Thanks for commenting :D agree. and you can find many conscientious modifications from DT-02 chassis if you get a DT-03, even if that is fully standard. I think that DT-03 is a new bench mark in entry-class buggy.

great video! Thank you very much for the contribution, I have never had a tamiya, I currently have a kyosho axxe 2wd (when I bought it it was already rtr) I have never assembled a chassis from 0 what are the advantages and disadvantages from 0? I am thinking about the DT 03 neofighter, what are the pros and cons of this buggy? Can you fit another servo and variator from other brands? What speeds can we achieve with brushed and a 2s lipo? How about the quality of the spreads and arrows? do you highly recommend brushless on this car? drive shafts wear out fast?

Hey thanks for the review! It seems to be time for retire for my good old mad fighter :) any ideas oft max speed with brushed 17t engine? My mad fighter goes 45kmh :)

Hi, thanks for commenting. I guess its standard gear brings suitable gear ratio for brushed 17T motor. It might be slightly slow than Mad Fighter by its drive shaft loss but still I strongly recommend this product. I'm confident you'll be satisfied. :)

Pretty decent buggy for an entry class. What motor did you install?

Thanks for commenting, yes, I think so too. I was using standard Mabuchi RS-540 motor during this test.
