That Toyota hilux looks amazing

I had a Grasshopper as my first, then the Hotshot. I traded them both for a half pipe in 1986...

Sorry for all the comments but I’m glad you finally saw the hi lux race truck was way better looking than the king cab. You always you to talk about the king cab but I never liked it’s body I know there the same frame just different bodies. Hi lux was the last tamiya I built in my childhood early teens like 13-14 or something like that. Great truck just don’t drop all those greasy bearings in the tranny pretty tough build for a young teen who only built a hand full of cars frog being the hardest until the hi lux racer.

god i rembember walking into the toy shop back in the late 80 me and my m8 had a few rc cars but ever1 wanted the bigwig but our parents couldn't afford it .had that gold engine ..lovly! the boomarang and the midghtnight pumkin i had still love that boomerang oh the memorys ...love the channel

keep them away from the windows / close the curtains. Sunlight will damage stickers as well as the guide books and motor boxes.

Great collection mate. I have a bigwig in avante blue and hotshot in metallic red on display in my bedroom. Don't think wife is too happy. But had a bigwig ad a kid in 86. I have a grasshopper also a child hood car and just building a super hotshot(awesome car) and got a boomerang for Xmas which will be a runner :-) love the classics ..

You may need to get something to lift the kits for display, over time the tyre will have flat spots.

I love all these cars, especially thundershot but egress, avante and too force are a whole another level. All 3 got the exploded diagram / front page on the guidebooks that's my excuse for collecting them 3.

Nice collection...........I'm thinking about selling my NIB Wild Willy M38 LWB 1982. Think it's too old to attempt a build now. Also got a NIB Willy M38 body set. Not sure how to price these. The Willy kit was 750 quid 20 yrs ago and the body parts about 100 quid. I never bother with them now I have twin girls.
