That bodyshell has come out really well, looks fantastic! The only thing I would do ismove those yellow 'CIBIE' decals from off the front lights to somewhere else, they look a bit odd over the lights. Great video as always!!

The body turned out really well. Fun to see you fiddling around with the decals. It is at its best with the hobby when you create on your own. Looking forward to a collage with racing cars. the Porsche 911 GT1, Mercedes and now the Toyota.

I like it, big Toyota fan back in the day. I had a Celica but always wanted a Supra and this brought back great memories of playing Gran Turismo on the first PlayStation. I think I might go and get it out of the roof!! I think you nailed it👍👍 and just goes to show again you don't need to spend an absolute fortune to get a really great result .

I like ti Glenn, keep it with the racing decals for sure. I would put the windowscreen visor decal on last to cover up the green that protrudes onto the windscreen a bit. Wheels line up and fit great!

Looks fantastic! I have the kit and didn’t realize the body was the Castrol Tom’s; hunting down the decals. I wish more of the JGTC / Super GT Tamiya bodies WITH decals were available.

You inspired me to do a 959 tribute car and let me tell you .... you make some thing’s look easy!! I’m on my second body so that should tell you what it’s been like. Looks great! I was hoping you might show how you sharpened the front splitter line using line tape. Maybe a future video could be how to fix painting issues. I'm currently building a Fat Fox and painting has been a challenge!!

Looks amazing! That Tamiya PS-1 just pops so much. Even without a backing coat. I used it for my Mugen CRX body for my M-03. Reminds me I have to finish the light kit in it. I bought another CRX body from ABC hobby, so I could have a body to drive the chassis with, and for the light buckets to put on the Tamiya CRX shell.

Great job Glenn! You need a street car version too! Would you consider moving the bonnet number to fill the space on the middle? Personally I like it as it is - but you didn’t seem happy with that part. Really impressed with how you get decals to fit different models. Excellent work.

Hi Glen, I really wish every decal maker would die cut their decals to save us mere mortals from cutting them out with bleeding 🩸 scissors ✂️, grrrrrrr 🤪. I always loved 🥰 those Supra shells, they have timeless lines, like the Porsche 911. The Supra looks great in the Castrol colour scheme, awesome 🤩. And the wheels and tyres are amazing, the detailing really makes them. Supra video Glen, yah like wot I dun there.

Gotta say I love it. If those wheels were any easier to get I'd really consider doing it as well. But what is that matt look on the body? Maybe it just looks like that on camera, but it's almost like a pearl white. Like that a lot.

I like it but I think you should also have another body and explore both options, white I was instantly drawn to, panel lines like you said! + working lights would be good even if there not plugged in, maybe two tamiya stars on this bonnet space? :)

I like it a lot. As a road car it needs to be a different colour imo, PS-7 perhaps, or PS-16 for something more conservative. I would be happy to shelf it as it sits tho :)

Looks great Glenn. Personally I think the road kits as boxart are boring. You're right to go with the racing car look. The bonnet doesn't need much more. Maybe just an electricals warning triangle that all the racing cars have?

Looks great, just trim the green decal around the top of windscreen.

I would use the MCI headlights because they look like they might fit the front decals better

Do you not back any body with black? Adds more realism to me. On white I would of done white, silver then black. The silver would make the white pop. Then the little black spot you needed you could of just masked that area then when finishing in black you would of gotten it. But overall it’s still hard to argue with the results. Looks very perfect.

Do you cut the body post to match the body so they stick out that far?

The color looks milky. If you back the white with silver and then with flat black, it will make the white completely opaque and better match the color on the wing. Tamiya PS paints, especially the lighter colors, lack pigments sufficient to make them opaque without applying a ridiculous number of coats. Their silvers are horrendous. Otherwise the car looks great. You've done an excellent job with the decals. Those wheels and tires look amazing!! 👍 Does it look better as a street-going car? I think not. I very much prefer what you've done with it.

Street car looked good but Castrol is way more legendary. Good job, way more difficult than one first thinks. I just think a tiny little thing is missing, maybe just a little ps 31 smoke or an interior?

Do you use the PS paint on the hard plastic wing and mirrors? Or do you switch to TS?
