Well I think he’d be the first to tell you he’s learning every day. His change from who he used to be (not a bad guy at all, he was always intelligent, but different) is well documented and it’s been so amazing to watch him develop in his search for truth. That takes bravery and courage and I commend him.

Protestantism says that the sinner is FULLY justified before a holy God in, by, through the finished work of Jesus. In other words, fully means past, present, and future sins. Nothing is left to pay for. Jesus pays it ALL. This is a legal, declaratory judgment made by Almighty God through the sinners resting on the finished work of Jesus. At that moment, upon the sinners resting on Christ, the work of salvation is complete. It is finished. Everything else that belongs to the Christian life flows out of this new union with Christ. All love, good works, holiness, etc flow from a new relationship established in Christ.

We protestants also confess our sins to God and feel fully forgiven. When JP at around 3.20 saysa that we don't this is utterly unfounded. We just go to God instead of a priest. We also ay any time can go to a vicar / minister and confess if we like and also to each other. JP is and I dislike to use such hard terms 'utterly wrong' in what he's saying here. I've attended Church of England and Methodist congregations and catholic. The priest here is wrong too when he says it's a deeper lever etc. It really isn't actually. That aside we also have accountability partners if we want, pastoral support sessions if we want and a lot of us go to house groups where we can also confess and discuss with others. Utter falsehood asserted in this video and I hope it is edited out. Not that either party will likely ever read this. Anyhow God bless.

Jordan Peterson talks much about the Bible, and upon Biblical topics. His wife has converted to the one true Faith, and yet Jordan still cannot commit. It's clear from his answer on Candace Owens, that he is still making important decisions from a fiduciary lens. He prizes his income over his faith. Jordan, you cannot serve two masters. It feels as if he is worried he will no longer get invited to the "intellectual" conversations, which again shows a desire for the things of the world; the respect of humans over the love and forgiveness of God. I fear he suffers from the sin of presumption, whereby he feels he can convert at the last moment, and truly enjoy the best of both worlds. It is a grave mistake.

To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes FORGAVE I it *IN THE PERSON OF CHRIST* ” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬-‭20 “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and *HATH GIVEN US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION;* To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; *AND HATH COMMITTED UNTO US THE WORD OF RECONCILIATION.* Now then we are *AMBASSADORS* for Christ, as though God did beseech you *BY US:* we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.” All of this is possible only because Christ commands it in John 20:23 TO THE APOSTLES AND THEIR SUCCESSORS (Acts 1:21-26, 1 Tim. 4:14, 1 Tim. 5:22).

@caterinadc5567

I mean, correct, it isn't. But Peterson is in the orbit of Christ now. :) I'm enjoying watching Christ pull him in, haha. I mean obviously Peterson has free will and conversion isn't inevitable -- but he's an intelligent older man (meaning ever more aware of his own death) who values virtue and truth, and he has at least a level of respect for the Catholic Church, and the accompaniment of good Catholic teachers like Bishop Robert Barron. And now his beloved wife is Catholic too, and I am sure her husband is in her prayers. If anything I almost think Peterson seemed unusually sharp against Catholicism in this clip, which I actually take to be a good sign. Showing the teeth a little more because the threat is a little more; as if he is recognizing the proximity of the Church to himself, and increasingly on guard against the claim he senses the Church may have on him. CS Lewis described himself as the most reluctant convert in all of England, but glad to have finally lost the battle to Christ. I hope Peterson eventually gets to make a similar confession :)

It's really moving to see how much Dr Peterson cares about his wife's spiritual journey. Even though there's some truth in what she found in terms of concept, it is untrue in terms of its source. It goes to show a bit of God goes a long way in a world full of spiritually hungry people. In a society where so many are selling their lies, it's hard to find the truth. Christianity predates before the Catholic Church's rise to power, as it became popular and was co-opted by those seeking control. Both the Catholic and Protestant Churches have twisted Christianity by trying to control spirituality and act as go-betweens with God. The Protestant Church has become what they once protested against. Jesus said, "I am the truth, the way, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." Jesus came to break down the barrier between humanity and God with his ultimate sacrifice. Being a simple Christian that I am, I know that no pastor or priest has the authority to come between me and God. The Catholic Church claims its origins in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the early Christian community. Unlike the Roman Catholic Church, the early Christian Church was not a centralized institution with a single leader. It was a network of communities connected by their shared faith in Christ. The apostles, including Peter, traveled to different churches, but they never sought to create a hierarchy or demand loyalty to themselves. Instead, they always emphasized the importance of Christ as the foundation of the Church. Roman Catholicism, however, distorted Christianity by introducing structures of power and control. The true foundation of the Church is Christ, not any human authority. The Spirit is the true guide and unifier of the faithful, rendering hierarchies and representatives unnecessary. To suggest otherwise is to undermine the sufficiency of Christ and the Holy Spirit. The rock that the church should be built on is Christ, not an actual rock. Therefore the church is built on Christ, in other words the Spirit is the center, the teacher, the binder of the faithful. No hierarchy required. No representative required. To have such is to suggest that Christ and the Holy Spirit are not enough and need man's help, structure, control, and permission. Under the threat of sickness and mortality, the faith of Dr Peterson and his wife bent horribly. They became so preoccupied with the fear of death that they forgot about the promise of eternal life through God in Christ and the Holy Spirit. Tammy's friend served as a vessel for Satan, leading her to pray the rosary when she was given a limited time to live. It is a common human condition to focus on immediate problems and seek immediate solutions. They failed to see how they became lost, but when the danger of being lost became imminent, Satan pounced.

He's basically always treated like the smartest person in the room. So even tho he's extremely well read and can run circles around the person he's talking to, at the end of the day he tends to want to put things in context of Jung, psychoanalysis, etc. and nobody in the room can stop him. It's valuable, but it's often missing the point too. As much as I assume he already read and knows about catholicism, it's pretty surprising he doesnt GET confession and gives it a completely shallow interpretation. Especially one that traditional priests will warn against. I have to say i'm quite tired of this constant need some intellectuals have to simply find christianity "genius and useful", and only "true" in how it can serve to create a great society and great people (i'm simplifying this very much, but I just cant square peterson's "i live as if God is real" and saying how irrational atheism is, with this constant need to turn the spiritual and TRUE into psychoanalysis and USEFUL. When he says TRUE, i think he means more like SPOT ON, or ACCURATE. That these stories just capture the archetypes perfectly and that fascinates him (again taking things back to Jung etc). And like I said, i'm likely simplifying too much, and I want to be more patient and I trust God is working through it all in him, but that's just how I currently see JP at.

Don't say bloody it's a bad word. The origin of it is used to make a blasphemous reference to the blood of Christ. It profanes that which is so sacred. It could also been an alliteration of "by Our Lady". Regardless it shouldn't be used, neither should any other foul or profane speech. You have a platform so this doesn't just affect you man, it affects and influences all those who watch you, adults and children alike. Jesus himself said "If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea." So please bro be careful with your language, the bible talks against it numerous times. Proverbs 19:1, Ephesians 5:4, Colossians 3:8, James 3:6, proverbs 4:24, the list goes on. These words are so idle they don't even serve any purpose to the conversation other than to be filler words. They are utterly empty. So please, I am urging you for the good of yourself and others, to please stop cursing.

Jordan is trying to distract from his bad science as a psychologist. Jordan needs to address as part of a disciplinary probation order, a period of suspension may be imposed prior to the effective date of the probation. The Board's Disciplinary Guidelines provide details of the conditions under which a suspension may be made a part of the probation order. During suspension, licensees may not practice psychology or refer to themselves as psychologists. As indicated above in "Probation," suspensions are considered disciplinary actions associated with probation orders and, as such, are public information and provided to consumers upon request. Jordan is a Frasier Crane wannabe. He is an entertainer not a psychologist. Because he sells books and videos and lectures, THAT IS NOT THERAPY. He needs to address his bad conduct in courts in the case of Case 1 Sordi v. Sordi, 2009 CanLII 80104 (ON SC) he defamed a parent in court. In the case 2 R. v. Pearce, 2012 MBQB 22 (CanLII) he tried to free a murderer. Then in the case Peterson v. College of Psychologists of Ontario, 2023 ONSC 4685, he tried to avoid taking responsibility. He also tried to interfere in a family court case in Montana, the Kolstadt case, where there was a GAG order, he unprofessionally diagnosed a minor without interviews or assessments, and tried to defend unfit parents.
