Another sign-language interpreter is accused of signing total gibberish. This time it was at the police news conference announcing an arrest in the Tampa serial killings. A woman standing off to the side was supposedly translating every word, but it turns out much of what she was signing was nonsense. The woman, identified as Derlyn Roberts, has a string of arrests for fraud. So how did she come to be "translating" at last week's high-profile police news conference? #InsideEdition

She’s not faking all of it though. She does know how to sign just not really well. At one time the guy says something about his “glass being half full” and she does the correct sign for glass but it’s eye glasses not drink glass. It’s really rough and not very cohesive but not completely fake either. That’s probably why she got away with it, she’s signing like a kid, not as a professional who’s fluent in sign

@@Kenneth_MJ I'm no grammar police, but the word "it's" is a contraction, or is short for "it is"...the word happened is past tense but used in this sentence is not correct. I think...and the grammar police will correct me lol it should be "It happened again" So saying "It is (or it's) happened again" is incorrect and just funny lol

Once at my baby sister’s little league softball game they didn’t have anyone to umpire home plate and the game would be cancelled. I was 17 and never played anything but football and got hooked into covering home plate after many “please please please”s from teary eyed kids.
