"The General" - Tampa Theatre's Restoration Celebration

6 жыл бұрынOn Saturday, June 2, 2018, Members of the Florida Orchestra performed Buster Keaton's 1926 silent comedy classic "The General" at Tampa Theatre in celebration of the majestic movie palace's recently completed restoration work, which returned portions of the historic landmark back to their original 1926 aesthetics.

I've lived in LA for 31 years now. I went to High School in Tampa and I visited Tampa Theatre and saw DOZENS of Classics and Concerts there every time I went there and visited. And while I lived there!! LOVE Tampa Theatre!! It's great to see this!!!!! I repeat: I LOOOOOOOOVE Tampa Theatre!!!!

I'm the composer of this score: bravo! A great excerpt from the film - the hits are right on. Great work by conductor David Stech and the Florida Orchestra!
