I think that Matthew Lawrence was in a toxic marriage to Cheryl Burke and he became a people pleaser as a way to cope in that marriage and the marriage became so focused on Cheryl's sobriety and her career aspirations but I wondered what did Matthew want and what did Matthew want to do in his career? I also noticed that no one really asked Matthew what it was like to deal with Cheryl's sobriety. I also think that Chilli loves Matthew just the way that he is and vice versa for Chilli with Matthew. I also think that now Matthew doesn't feel like he has to be a people pleaser as a way to cope because Chilli really seems to want Matthew to be himself with her and Matthew also wants Chilli to be herself Matthew and Chilli have separate careers and interests but they also seem to support each other without resentment.

@Tommy MACK I think that the only reason that we are hearing more from Chilli commenting on her relationship with Matthew is simply because she is promoting TLC Forever and TLC's tour. Matthew supports Chilli without upstaging her and vice versa and Matthew Lawrence and Chilli are from a generation where they didn't share everything about their personal life in a public manner and they both seem to be happy both together and separately. I wouldn't be surprised if Matthew wants to marry Chilli. I think that Matthew Lawrence is in a romantic relationship where he can just be himself without feeling pressure to be a people pleaser as he did in his marriage to Cheryl Burke and that Matthew and Chilli's relationship is different from their prior romantic relationships.

Matthew did talk about Chili in his Podcast with his brothers from June 2, 2023, and it is obvious that Matthew and Chilli truly care about and support each other without resentment or upstaging each other and that just because someone has money doesn't mean that they have good morals and a good heart.

@Tommy MACK Yes, and that was years ago. I read in a recent interview that Chilli did that where she mentioned that she dated outside of her race before she was famous and in TLC. I think that Chilli learned that just because a man has money doesn't mean that they have a good heart and good morals. Chilli deserves to find happiness in her personal life after all that she has been through and she realized that Usher wasn't going to be that guy for her and I don't think that it helped that people inside and outside of the media were always rooting for them to be together. Chilli has found happiness in her personal life and found a man who really loves her back and in return and I think that if someone can't be happy when someone else has found happiness that they weren't really a fan in the first place. Usher was never going to be the guy that she wanted him to be, and it took her a long time to see that their relationship became toxic.

Oh hell NO. Chilli has her youthful looks, tight body, and total freedom. IMO, it would not be a good idea to begin boring any children at this stage of the game. And I feel anyone falling in love and/or thinking about marrying someone should watch/study that person closely for at least 3 to 5 years to really see the true person and sometimes longer. Also, one needs to look at the person's romance history and all important aspects of it. Now at Chilli's phase of life right now, she don't need to rush into no marriage and definitely NOT have nobody's baby bec if the relationship doesn't work out then each party can go their separate way and no children are caught in the crossfire. Each party can move on fresh. Right now, the couple seems to be dreamy-eyed while talking & behaving like 20 & 30-year olds and that period has passed for both of them. Another thing, it seems to be a fad of some sort with women having babies in their 50's which is usually the empty-nester and/or grandparent period. And during the half-century stage, the body & mind is in a different dimension - definitely not dealing with a man's or child's selfish daily needs. Cheryl Burke filed for divorce from Matthew Lawrence in January 2022 and Matthew then decided to move on in his personal life and he and Chilli didn't start dating until November 2022 and that is plenty of time to move forward with your personal life. I think that Matthew and Cheryl's marriage became toxic because it became focused so much on Cheryl's sobriety and her career aspirations. Cheryl Burke seems like the kind of person that wants everything to be all about her all the time especially after watching a live interview where Cheryl was complaining about the wedding RSVPs. Matthew and Chilli both seem more grateful for what they have and don't complain in a public manner like Cheryl did there.

TLC was huge in the 90's and each of the members brought their own creativity to the group unlike most girl groups in the 90's and in TLC they aren't trying to sing one part and didn't have lineup changes and so that's what separated TLC from other girl groups. Lefteye was a creative force and good for Tamron Hall for acknowledging that, and in a world full of girl groups in the 90s, TLC stood out because of Lisa's talent, and Tamron acknowledged that.
