The dawg pound this year in Cleveland is going to be INSANE with MANZIEL taking the snaps and making huge plays. He's a great playmaker and electric. My only concern is I hope he can change his game a little bit to adjust to the NFL. His pocket passing is underrated IMO. His completion % in the pocket is pretty decent. I think Hoyer should be the starter unless Johnny absolute smokes him in training camp...but Johnny learning the offense first is more important. You don't want to thrown him out there prematurely and get his head knocked off. Cleveland needs to develop this kid and bring him along slow. Don't throw him to the wolves on day 1. He's to special of a player to have him killed is first season. CLE needs to protect this kid along with all their QBs. His big hands and feet will be huge for him in the NFL. If Johnny is used right and protected (OL) he will be one special electrifying player in the NFL for seasons upon seasons. I wish Johnny and the Browns the best.

I don't see how throwing the ball as far as you can down the field and hoping it's not intercepted is a highlight. If anything that's a highlight for his receivers that save his ass so often.

regardless of what his NFL career turns(ed) out to be it won't take away what he did for Texas A&M, and the performances he put on in College Station, Texas and everywhere he played.

Those lob passes are calculated risks. He's got a 6'5" Mike Evans with a 39" vertical leap going against a 5'10" DB. I'd take those odds all day. The reason you don't see the lob going to Labhart, Holmes or one of the other receivers is because they don't have the same advantage.

Yeah, he stays lucky like that. All the way through high school & into his first two seasons of college. Lucky like that every week. We should all be so lucky.

Maybe I'm just ignorant because I don't watch much NCAA football, but I don't see what's so spectacular about this guy other than his elusiveness. It's nothing we've never seen before. Most of these highlights were just prayers thrown and the WR ability to catch in traffic. I watched this just to see who in the hell this Johnny Manziel is that everyone is talking about. What game should I look at to really see why he's so popular? I'm not trying to hate on the guy. I just really wanna know. And why do they call him Johnny Football?

In my opinion he doesn't look like he has the arm strength from this video. Granted he's going to get stronger before the regular season begins but his decision making when he's scrambling needs improvement. He wont be able to just lob it up in the air everytime and expect his recievers to grab it. Not against NFL dbs. He is an electric player and its always fun watching him. I see two things he does very well, run and throw hail marrys.

If he can make quicker decisions and thread the needle when need be, he can be good. I don't know about top tier, or team changing, they need a leader for that and his off the field problems lead me to doubt him. But from what I've seen in these highlight films is that he has a lot of time in the pocket (which in the NFL will be cut down drastically... 5 sec tops for most plays) and even though he has the ability to be elusive, he needs to be able to succeed without the use of his legs. Top 5 pick in the draft, but depending on how desperate teams are, I see him 1-3 overall. One thing is that a lot peg him as a russel wilson, which i can see from the size and elusiveness, but Wilson is elusive but in the way that a QB should be, always looking downfield and extending the play. Manziel see's a look and he'll go for it, even if someone is wide open on the play. He's maybe an RG3 or a really small Kaepernick.

I hope the browns can grab him at #4. He reminds me of Steve young. Let him sit for a year or two and develope his poket passing. He will be unstoppable
