Comrade heroes are designed to simplify the experience, especially for solo play. Great vids. Thanks for these. You are very clear and impart the info and I appreciate that you put some written edits in. I have one suggestion/critque. I've heard this in a lot of board game KZfaqrs and it seems to be infectious. You use the filler words "Go ahead" a great deal. You can cut every instance of that phrase out. Something to consider.

Excellent video! I was looking for one that taught how to use the comrades! I loved! It is just the simplification that I was looking for for my games with 1 or 2 players. Have you played full games with the comrades? Do you see them balanced enough with respect to a player to play an entire campaign with 3 comrades?

Thanks for watching! I'm glad you found it helpful. I have not done any full games with the comrades. I enjoy the skill system too much. I can see that they are probably balanced enough to play an entire campaign, but I'd recommend that you do that with two not three. The skill pads of regular characters are not only powerful, but they are fun and provide some great interaction off turn. So, having two regular and two comrade I think would be the most balanced in this case. But, I'm just theorizing. You can always try it out for a quest or two and then switch to what works best for you. Thank you for watching!

Question though. Where did you find the green level 1 villain cards? There were only two in my deck. Are they in another expansion?

@@tabletopforone At the 3:54 mark you show the green berserker card. Those are what I mean. I don’t have the green cards.

Gotcha. So, every villain has a number in the bottom left of the card. See if you have that #4 card and flip it over. It has the Blue Mystic on one side and the Green Guardian on the other.

Really good playthrough, thanks for sharing. It's nice to have comrades but as a solo gamer I'll be playing with full characters for all the reasons you mention. Hopefully you'll play more AtC and Tanares and upload videos.

Thank you so much for the compliment and encouragement! I do plan on more Tanares content. I actually recorded me doing the character choice mini-game that they included in the beginning of the journal. It's more a fun video. I'll have that edited and posted probably tomorrow. I do have other games and videos on the schedule, but for sure Tanares will be regular content. Thank you for watching!
