Loved the blog....oh so nice to see the Indian stuff in a foreign land.super great. Tandoor ki zaroorat nahin hai....I stay in India...flats mey tandoor...very diff. If you have a thick bottom cooker...then turn it over and keep on an the flame of the gas...( Or light a brick choolah outside near the patio) roll out your tandoori rooti/parantha...( Same as we do for tandoor size) sprinkle a feww drops of water on the cooker..if it sizzles then turn it on its side and slightly wet the rolled roti on one side ...stick the wet side in the cooker....at a time three rotis can be stuck on the inside of the cooker....turn the cooker ...again on the flame....with 2 mts the roti is cooked like tandoor. Once done turn the cooker on the sides again....and remove the roti with the help of a chimta or spatula. If you want the underside of the roti to be cooked litter more,then put on the flame for a few seconds.( Same as when we phlao the roti) They come out super good. I have been making roti,parantha, Missi roti,stuffed parantha....only be mindful of your hands...as the cooker will be hot. ENJOY❤
