I have this in 37mm with an orange dial. The accuracy of the movement is decent (for Seiko) but the lume, like your example, is a bit of a letdown, especially on the hands. Perfectly good bezel and crown actions. Pretty good for $80. Nice review, Steve. Cheers 🍻!

I just picked up Tandorio's titanium 3 hand version of this watch and I am impressed for the ~$50 sale price I paid. Bezel action decent, but not great, as you would expect with a cheap titanium watch. They make a great base for modding, but stay away from their domed sapphire crystals.

I have a PT5000 Tandorio domed sapphire crystal. Have no issues with it at all, wear it pretty much every day. Been all over the Gulf of Mexico with it, held up in the water fine. I’ve had it for over a year.

Professional review, no important detail is missing, thanks for that my friend! A nice watch, got it on my radar now 😎. During the last sale I bought the Tandorio 41nn SKX007 homage. With its specs, compared to the original, and a price of under 50 Euro (incl. taxes!!), it´s just outstanding. For me, Tandorio is the most interesting newcomer. Looking forward to your next 👍👍👍

@@erdenizcatak8389 It has a nice jubilee bracelet. Very comfortable. The only cost cutting measure here ist the pressed clasp. I substitute it with a milled clasp for 6 Euros

I have the 38mm diameter version, thinner too. Looks and bezel action similar to yours. Not confident of the 200m water resistance claim. The crown left about 1mm gap between the crown and the case after fully screw in. And feeling a bit of grinding when winding it manually. Ran a bit fast which is fine. One complaint is the red GMT hand is about 15m later than hour hand. Yeah, the lume on hands fade faster than the hour marker dots. Overall it’s like my Vostok watch lume. Can’t use at night. But still works as a GMT ina size I like.

Hi Steve thanks for uploading this video. I’ve got the Batman version on order and hope to get it soon. I appreciate that It does have its shortcomings but for just over £50 in the 11.11 sale it seemed like a steal. Had Steeldive done the same colour version I would’ve probably gone with that one. The Tandorio is not a one for one homage of the Seiko 5 GMT visually. I nearly bought the OG watch but was put off by the push pull crown. I would only end up breaking it!

This looks good not keen on gmt watches but the skx looks are very good one thing that goes against Tandorio is lack of water resistance

Kinda shame about the bezel, they could have done a friction fit bezel like on the original and it would have been pretty much perfect, the divers bezel action throws it off a bit

Thanks as always for the review. Wondering - what would it take for these companies to make and sell a titanium version. Yes it would add cost, but the weight is what keeps me from wearing my old SKX.

How difficult is it to remove that clasp? and replace it? As AliExpress sells fully milled clasps at various sizes, and I believe this clasp would be a 20mm...

It's an 18mm clasp and it's pretty simple. 1 springbars and one, I'm guessing, pin and collar maybe? May have to find a jubilee specific one maybe.

I am quite happy with my 2 Tandorio field/pilot watches. Annoyingly BAD about your video is this: A flat crystal is the greatest anti-reflection feature you can have. A convex glass surface catches reflections from everywhere, but a flat one just needs a small turn, and you are glare free! So WHY are you rather obviously intentionally blinding us by constantly catching your neon-tube light in the crystal?

This looks pretty decent for the money but has zero resale value and it's named after a curry. I'll stick with my blueberry SSK.

These are a lot of fun for not a lot of cash....resale is not what a Chinese watch is for. Experimenting with styles, sizes, colors, modding, etc. nobody buys a Chinese watch for the resale...heck, pretty much any watch that isn't "god tier" is going to tank after purchase.

Why not? It's got all the gaskets a Seiko does...as long as they don't screw up the gaskets during installation I see no reason why this wouldn't survive a light swim...I've swam with my Addiesdive Willard MANY times with no water intrusion.

Tandorio has a totally undeserved bad rep for water resistance! There were a couple of pressure test fails around a year ago, but they have fixed them. Tandorio passed the latest pressure tests on a few videos. I cracked both my 39mm pilot and 36mm W10 Hamilton/CWC homage open for regulating (both within COSC now when worn and on winder carousel), and the cases and seals are just dandy. My two field/pilot watches have been in the shower several times, without any hint of fogging. Just make sure the crown is tight, and I would see no problem going for a swim with mine!
