Hey Jacek, wiedzialem, ze Cie tu znajde. Please wytlumacz mi. Ja pamietam, ze Edgar mial syna Jarome Froese i ze syn dalej ciagnal TD a tu jakis inny gosc jest liderem. Czego ja nie wiem??

@@rrki witaj.

Tangerine Dream is a spiritual/emotional experience. You can not put that into words. The answer to all the questions: listen to the music.

I have followed Tangerine Dream for ages, I’m trying to slowly work my way through all their albums. I have about 600 hours of their music but know there’s more to come. The magic is each piece is something special yet familiar. Edgar was a clever man and with Thorsten carrying on the journey we all can enjoy their magic.

Yes, it's a shame Hoshiko wasn't given the chance to speak. In many ways, she's the most interesting of the three.

The guys tried to get her to answer, but the interviewer never asked her a question directly.

It's not that they aren't doing good music, but sorry, Tangerine Dream died with Edgar. This is a cover band.

Check out the recent 'Sessions' that have appeared here on YT. User recorded but they show the improv freedom of this band. To my ears, it is straight from the legacy. Modern and new but with more than a nod to Edgar. Here is the one with Steve Roach from Sept '23. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a7ScbJxjvrmZfYU.html&pp=ygUYdGFuZ2VyaW5lIGRyZWFtIHNlc3Npb25z Keswick Theatre PA Sept '23 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gb2DlLl8sr-so5s.html&pp=ygUYdGFuZ2VyaW5lIGRyZWFtIHNlc3Npb25z Leipzig Oct 10/23 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r9CXpMt4s7CliKM.html

No it's not. Cover bands, by definition, don't do original music. This lineup of Tangerine Dream does, and therefore, again by definition, is not a cover band. This is exactly what Edgar intended, by the way. He wanted TD to go on without him. Thorsten made TD awesome again. They were rubbish from about 1986 until Thorsten joined.

I had a chat with her after the concert in Brussels (4 June) and I quickly realized she knows very little English or German. I only have an extremely limited grasp of Japanese, so it was a decidely interesting exchange. I'm pretty sure she understood what I was saying, mind. Hoshiko is beautiful, incredibly charming, and one hell of a violin player. It must be difficult to do battle with those throbbing sequencers every night.

I'd turn that question right around on you. Why do air headed extroverts always think there's something wrong with people who don't yap as vapidly as much as they do? Does your brain stop working if you mouth's not incessantly moving? Go away, and have a long think about the utter stupidity and ignorance of what you said.

I would have loved to hear Hoshiko. She can't be blamed for being timid, it is a very endearing quality. 🤍
