'Tiergarten' from the album Le Parc, was one of my favourite tracks from Tangerine Dream back in the day. I think I was in my mid-teens when I first heard it, and the full album and couldn't wait to learn it on my keyboard at the time, which maybe have been an old Yamaha portasound keyboard or perhaps my first Casio synth (both were crap!).
The entire album Le Parc was full of awesome tracks, which I've no doubt were thanks in large part to Johannes Schmoelling, which I believe was his last studio album with the band. I think the Schmoelling era of Tangerine Dream was probably my favourite, followed by Haslinger who joined a little while after.
Anyway, here's my take on the track. I tried to stay fairly close to the original.
