He actually lost arm and still fought if u ever visit kondhana (Sinhagad) u will find the place where he lost arm and the place where hr died. They r on two opposite sides of fort

Haat katne ka scene real tha.....Actually jo real Tanaji the, Unka haath katne ke baad(dhaal bhi tut gayi tab) unhone pagdi haath pe lapet ke, udaibhan ka har vaar us haath pe liya....aur last me kaafi ghhaav lagne ke baad bhi unhone puri shakti laga ke udaibhan pe vaar kiya jisse woh bhi maara gaya aur kaafi energy laga dene ke kaaran tanaji bhe shahid ho gaye....
