Personally, I still love my UTAU version because of her sakebi power, but the thing I like on SynthV version is that she sounds so clear and matured. So, which version do you like most or both? ξ(^ω^)ξ

I think it really depends on what sound you want. Really voice synths are instruments and different VBs are different instruments in the same instrument family.

Could just be the pitch, but your use of SynthV Teto sounds so much like her UTAU self while maintaining the smooth, clear, and slightly more mature-sounding voice! I'm super happy about Teto getting a SynthV, but there's something oddly powerful and unique with her UTAU that still holds its own.

@@ReiiRei_39 we know, but they all fall under a similar vocal synth wing, so they're all commonly generally referred to as vocaloid TL:DR vocaloid is seen as the genre not the type of synth being used :)

iirc her voice provider was 15 when they made utau teto, and since it's been 15 years between utau and synthv she'd be 30 now. teto sounds to be the same age as her voice provider in all versions lol

this song has a big emotional significance for me for several reasons, and listening to this cover i felt so oddly at peace. i could hardly even feel the pain that i used to feel when i first discovered this song. it almost felt like someone draping a warm, soft blanket over my shoulders after a day out in the chilly air. I'm doing much better than I was when i first found the song, and this cover felt more like a tribute to the bad times that helped me grew stronger, rather than the desperation i felt when i wanted everything to be okay for just one night. it's funny how music makes you feel that way.

This was amazing! The contrast between UTAU and SynthV Teto really showed here, with how mature Teto sounds in SynthV and the more rasp UTAU Teto has. This was so incredible it brought tears to my eyes 😭❤❤❤ Edit: So I was thinking, Teto sounds happier in this version, which makes me imagine that Teto in the past was actually suffering from a meltdown because she was under intense pressure. No matter what she did, there will always be people who say "It's not enough" or "She doesn't sound good" And since Teto's dream is to become a popular and loved idol like Miku, she was doing everything in her power to improve by trying to mimic her. But then Teto realized that she doesn't need to mimic anyone, she realized that there are people who love her regardless of anything, and that she made a lot of people happy by just being herself. A few years later Teto comes back to sing this song, but not out of sadness or frustration, but just to remember how much she has improved since those dark times she want through. Finally accepting that her flaws are part of her and they are just as beautiful as any other part of her, Teto matured and improved a lot, and decided to sing this song one last time to show that she finally got there, she finally did it!

I LOVE this cover a lot, and I love how clear the differences the voice banks of both covers are. the old cover felt like raw, hot emotion, while this one’s mellow and clearer tone makes teto sound… sadder, like there’s a sense of finality in her voice, like she’s finally ready to jump in the reactor after so long. amazing cover, tanjiro, I can’t wait to hear what else you do with synthv teto!!

I still probably prefer your UTAU version because it was an instant classic, BUT I love the richness of the voice. Incredible tuning as always. It has a much more realistic air to it. I'm totally not guaranteed to love any version of Meltdown because its totally not one of my favorite songs of all time. Also forgot to mention, but nothing compares to the scream of the Teto UTAU ver.

I think they're both GORGOEUS in their own right!! Honestly, I've spent the past, like, hour just lining up different Meltdown covers and seeing how beautifully they line up XD I hope that comes across as the compliment I want it to, but I played both Teto versions at the same time and they sounded absolutely phenomenal. I think it would be really fun if you did a mashup of both versions (instead of fighting the timestamps) or UTAU/VSynth Teto duets! No pressure, your work is genuinely amazing as always! You were the one who made me love Teto (as well as Tei, and you're still one of the best Ruko tuners out there) I love you UTAU covers and have been SUPER excited to see how you use VTeto. If anyone knows how to bring out her Teto charm, it's you!

Officially my favorite tuning of teto’s synthv. One of my biggest gripes with how her synthv sounds is how its so different to the utau , and it’s hard to get me to be receptive to change. This cover shows how Teto synthv can be just as powerful, sound just as amazing And as unique as the utau version !!!! Incredible work as always , as expected of The CEO of Teto 👑🥖

I DO have to agree that UTAU Teto is still my favourite Teto but at the very least I also like your version of SynthV Teto, among some other SynthV Tetos that I like. SynthV Teto's a cool alternative to UTAU Teto who serves a different role. They're great in duets for sure though! Great work on the cover, thank you!

Tanji-baby great work as always. I don't have the proper words to describe the difference between utau and synth teto. However tetau has alot of nuances that make her stand out from other voicebanks. And again holy hell the work you do makes that difference noticeable. While tetoV isn't necessarily bad, it's different. In my opinion tetoV made a leap to sound more life-like l, like miku and other -loids do. But that synthetic autotuned voice tetau has is what made me fall in love and label her as my favourite singer. If anyone can make me like the new tetoV it's probably you,Keep doing amazing work as always!
