The VK 70.02 was a proposed German tank design during World War II, but it never entered production or saw active service. The VK 70.02, also known as the Lowe (German for "Lion"), was part of the Entwicklung series (E-series) of tanks that the German Army was considering for production. These tanks were intended to be a new generation of heavy tanks to replace the Tiger II (King Tiger) and other heavy tanks in service.
The VK 70.02 Lowe was designed to have thick armor and a powerful 105mm gun. However, due to the deteriorating situation of Nazi Germany in the latter stages of World War II, only a wooden mock-up was ever produced, and no operational vehicles were built.
