I feel so alone and sad. I've messed up in the past as have he but I thought we were past all that. We've been together 16 years and now, this past year we are like roommates. We share Bill's and chores but not each other. He doesn't even want to have sex. Heck...he doesn't even sleep In the same room. Idk what's going on and when I ask he makes excuses. I feel like ending it all sometimes. The way he speaks to me is aplorable. He looked my in the eyes today and said "fuck you" over a ball cap. I'm so so sad and lonesome.

I gave up the fight today. I fell in love with a friend who either wouldn't or couldn't love me back. This man helped me get through such an extremely difficult time in my life and things just happened. I fell hard and unapologetically, but all he could say was how flattered he was. He has every right to not love me, but I have every right to be with someone who can and will love me. This is to all of the tender-hearted people who love exponentially and without regret: your love matters. It might not matter to the person who you want, but it matters. That longing and constant yearning - give that to someone who longs and yearns to be with you. Don't give your love to a person who will not love you back. Preserve your love for that right person - they will come.

My catharsis helped me heal childhood trauma and brokenheartedness. Then you meet people that are attracted to that energy, that wouldn't do anything to hurt you and help you continue to heal. You want to find someone that pours into you like you pour into them. It's definitely out there!! 💜💜💜

I came across this by accident. To me its such a great analogy to God singing to us. He gives us the free will to love Him. And He can't make us love Him but just like Tank was by that car and saw Keisha Pulliam-Knight coming towards him, God is waiting for our decision to turn back to him...and He is so ready to embrace us. Before I knew the agape love of Christ I didn't understand how to appropriately engage in the other types of love. And now with God I am functional as a wife, mother, and sister.

I am the girl who came everyday for months for weeks for years. Even though i know he doesnt love me the way i do. Cause i believe that someday he'd see, that my love is true and that im the only girl who would went through all the kind of pains he gave me and the messes he put me in, who would listen to his lie forever. But I've resolved that just because it has not happened for me the way I would have liked it to, does not mean that it doesn't exist. What I do know is that it is a blessing to have when and if we find it. I've known of some couples that have been together 50+ years, so I know that true love and the longevity of it really does exist. Keep your head up. My parents, my brothers and their wives, my sister and her husband and even my son and his wife, have all found longevity in their marriages. There is a common denominator for them all. and that is they chose there mates for other reasons than the ones I've listed below. I'm guilty of choosing the wrong person for the wrong reason, so I am in no-way trying to judge. Unfortunately, as men and women we have a tendency to reach for the shallow (looks, money, image, lust good sex and for some, the fear of being without a mate.) all those things are fleeting because whenever they are weigh against the strength it takes to be committed to a thing, none of those are able to stand the test of time. When we chose wrong we wont have the relationship long. We changed God didn't. Oftentimes our view and feelings about a thing is a result of what we have or have not experienced so it is easier to believe that it no longer exist because the only other option is harder to accept.

This was my anthem...now it's a memory of someone I let go. I thought I was in love and it was pain and heartbreak. He made me realize all that suffering was to teach me what I didn't want. I was alone a long time after closed off my heart and decided I would ever love gain... then I met my J. He wouldn't let me stay that way. I'm in love and have been for 16 years and he loves me as much as I love him. Equal, trusting and magic...we celebrated our 15th anniversary in September. I am astounded to realize I do love him more and more each day.

I listen to this song almost everyday. I was in a ten year relationship and married to her for the last four years. When women get tired, they actually get tired. I just never thought I would go thru so much hurt and didn't kno I would have so much love for a woman because I was HARD, but that changed when she told me she was seeing someone else. It broke my heart and it took over a year to heal. God does things for reasons. Although we hear this a lot and don't wanna accept the fact because of the love we have, but love hurts and it also makes u grow. She's moved on and so have I . She's with another guy and has a baby on the way and that's just fine with me. I'm saying to say this. Us men need to feel, listen and respect our women before it's too late cause a fed up woman is hard to sustain.. What I found that works best for me is: 1. stop trying to be his friend (while secretly hoping to get back with him.) 2. stop finding reasons to call him and 3. STOP PLAYING THESE KIND OF SONGS!!!! Tank has the most beautiful vocal quality. I've listened to many other renditions. Nobody comes near Tank. I'm learning this song. I was 22 and found myself with someone l adored. Sorry, no sex unless he gives of himself... The way he looks and touches you shows that he doesn't care.

I was in a relationship for 2 years when my boyfriend told me he no longer loved me, he loved someone else.. I've never felt pain like it, it killed me on the inside. It took me a very long time to get over him, almost 2 years, i was seeking for answers! his relationship with the new girl failed after 2 months, karma! 2 years later Im doing just fine, i'm really happy and i'm ready to move on and be with someone who can love me. If you're going through a hard break up.. It does get better, you just wasn't meant to be, but some one out there is willing to give you the world and love you beyond words. Have faith guys.

You don't have to play with a persons heart. You can say goodbye. And let them find someone who will love them the way they need. It's horrible to see or realize that you don't love them/or that they don't love you. But be brave enough to let go of a love that doesn't love you/ or you don't love. Life is short enough. Why waste the time.

That's not a real relationship- that's unrequited love. And I'm still going through that shit right now. Hardest part is accepting that I'll never see her bright smile, look into her deep eyes, or hear her infectious giggle, ever again. Funny thing is that I use to have this song on repeat practicing my vocals. Until i met the man who wasnt my man. He knew what he wanted with his life, and it didn't include me. Its been 5 months now, and im just starting to get over him. The lyrics finally make sense
