Me and my brother bought similar, ex-Polish Merida. It has 45 km:s on the odometer, it was rebuilt -95 and kept in storage until 2015. We bought it from a collector here in Finland. It was used as a prop in the Fast and Furious movie in Island, though hard to notice. We have it in my summer house as there is forest to use it. It has the side rubber skirts and the gun heat shields that seem to be missing from this one. I was instructed to never-ever slide the clutch, as it may distort from heat and not disengage after that without repairing it. I gringed when I saw the driver slip it on this video; the clutch should be used almost on-off. The "sticks in the middle"-half speed is usually slow enough for everything on idle. It has been repainted partially to cover the Polish markings, but I must redo that; the paint does not stick to the white glossy paint and the "Poland" is coming visible again. It sure is fun to drive, but I have not found out what the engine oil type should be, not being sure of the viscosity, I used 15W-40 for diesel engines, it may be still too thin, though...
