Tanking the Infernal Citadel - Paladin Justicar Gameplay - Neverwinter Mod 18

Welcome to the Infernal Citadel. It is one of hardest Dungeons in the game right now and as such you need a good tank to complete it. Here is a Video with the gameplay of one of my smoothest runs. I do my best to commentate on what I'm doing, while also giving some decent tips and tricks to get you through the dungeon.

Protip regarding the Nazguron fear effect: you can still block while under its effect.

Nice video! Just a question: do you run the entire dungeon using the same loadout, just switching the powers?

Yup, I run the whole dungeon on the same loadout and just switch the powers when necessary

Could you do a new guide with your new strategy on second boss and all the healing changes? Would be great if you can tell when to rotate and which attacks we should block w divine champion.

hello aragon, your channel has been of great help to me. again you were amazing I have a question. how much HP would you recommend having to run IC? I confess that even though I have 800hp I almost always get one shot of the first boss tail. unfortunately I have no way of having a forgehammer of gond. I have all defense caps. Thankful if you can give me a tip.

Yeah, the first boss can be problematic. Use Absolution and the tab power just before your going to be hit. Then with his spine Toss, which is just after the Tail jab, you can move into the bosses base plate to avoid getting hit by many of the spines. Otherwise you should be fine doing IC with 800k Hp.

@@Aragon- thank you for your support. I think the biggest secret is having a group that finishes the job as soon as possible.The longer the battle takes the longer the tank life gets complicated! LOL continue your great work. success to the channel!

F Souza hey man i have used absolution and its great. What else helps is don’t block the small fast hits. Cause the healer can heal that. Then when you have the tail coming you have full stamina to block tail. Works great.

On the 2d boss, I have probs at times. I have 1 million hp as a Justicar Pally. Running same powers. Max stats across the board, 28.6k IL. I have noticed a huge difference depending on the healers capability. What are your thoughts on a holy avenger btw? I am using Vorpal and Negation but also have one of those. Was thinking of an Elven but not sure if it is better than a Negation or not.

Elven is a good bit better than Negation. Elven will reduce the time your stunned, immobilized, dazed etc, and on top of this will allow you to regain your shield 40% faster on max rank. As for Holy Avenger, it is pure garbage unless your in pvp, believe me I've tested it multiple times, even on my healer, it heals for next to nothing. The additional defense rating bonus is useless in pve, without it having a 100% uptime.

Soooo... i just tried the second boss but everyone got frustrated... it was my first time and everyone was telling me to run him in a square around the pillars and avoid middle... and it had me confused and everyone left.

Question. Before the dungeon I was capped on my skills when I entered the dungeon I noticed my stats went lower. Is this normal and if so then I need to plan to have better stats .

Whats your build, all of it, equips, companions, stamina and healing stats, need answers about this points, tks.

Quer Saber??? I like to mainly run with the highest item level gear for Hp, all the companions that will give the most Hp, I use all the different healing insignia bonuses and an elven battle with as many sources of stamina regen to get up to 70%

Quer Saber???, I've made videos showing my builds. The General Tanking build should have everything, just make sure your stats are capped for the content your running
