I would make Skybound higher in the ranking. In this Season I like how Jay is handled. It show us, that he is more than just the guy, who makes jokes. He finally can show us, what he can. Especially in the Episode "Nadakhans true plan" (Idk how it calls in English). Between the Pirategames he shows how he never gives up, no matter what. And I like how Nadakhan plays with the Ninja. He is one of the most skilled villains. I mean, he figured out what Jays weakpoint is, just from his actions. Very great season, that I like the most of all seasons.

In my opinion, the best season is probably Sons of Garmadon. The reason being is like you said, the suspense build up, the story, the plot twists, characters and the darkness makes the season really unique. When I got first introduced to Ninjago, this season was airing, and looking back at myself watching Ninjago for the first time being Sons of Garmadon is an absolute treat.

The best line in season 3 is " Mr cole is the worst." Absoloutley hilarious.

March of the Oni at number 5 is amazing. Such an underrated season.

My List: *only top 10 1. Possession - I love the ghost premise and having such a unique villain! They handled Morro's character arc perfectly while also providing a stealer ending. 2. Tournament of Elements - The start when the Ninja got invited to the island was just perfect! And when it was revealed that Zane was alive I was hype. Also W cliffhanger. 3. Master of the Mountain - One of the last good Ninjago seasons :C That being said I loved learning more about Cole's character and about his mom. And Skull Sorcerer criminally underrated! 4. March of the Oni - Beautiful. Except for Garmadon's Oni Form 💀 It was a real call back to OG stuff. All of that in only 4 episodes. Certified W 5. Skybound - Nadakhan just like Morro is so unique. People hat on it just because it basically never happened (only Jay + Nya remember) but I love the ending. I also liked seeing Clouse again 6. Legacy of the Green Ninja - The overlord becoming a dragon scared me as a kid. But still I gotta put it up here. The finale is still top tier even 10 years later. 7. Rebooted - Basically a better version of Prime Empire. It also saved Lego from getting sued by them Karen asce parents. Story was mid but it set up Season 4 perfectly. I love Cryptor to btw 8. Hunted - My personal favorite season out of the Oni trilogy the only reason it is below its third counterpart ( March of the Oni) is that sme episodes were amd filler. Firstborn a G though 9. Crystalized - A lot of filler but none the less I loved seeing the villain callbacks. The story went in a million different directions but still managed to pull it together in the end. 10. Day of the Departed - For context Morro is my favorite character. I loved the way they ended his character (except for him appearing in Hands of Time) and Coles rift/scar was fire.

I agree with your top 2, (dont worry i still loved everything else) I really loved tournamnet of elements (probaly because garmadon is my favorite and even though i dont have neflix, and i am a new ninjago fan from 2 months ago, i kniw everything. it feels like i am part of the old fam, even though i just started watching 2 moths ago! Tournament of Elements is great. Chen's annoying, but Sensei Garmadon is a genuine badass.

Everybody is always ignoring the SoG plot holes. Why would the Ninja propel Lloyd onto the bounty alone with no support as if he’s gonna defeat an entire gang/army (Lloyd could probably do that) Lloyd gets captured immediately. I feel like that sequence was rushed just so they could get to the ritual and so the hype of garmadon coming back would be there. Hurumi is such as annoying character and idk why. Also people hate season five? I didn’t know because about a year ago people were calling it the best season and calling morro the best villain. What I’m saying is SoG is overrated.

For me I love most seasons but if I'm saying specifically 1. DR (Season 1: The Merge) I saw how the lore and episodes were carried out along with the episode Power Within where the The Merge started again was the most chaotic and heroic and best scene and along with a sneak peak of Sora's True Potential and Lloyd's Conduit powers 2. Skybound, it is my most favourite original Ninjago Season bcs of how it focuses Jay and also Nya who are my most favourite two characters and Jay mostly and Nadakhan best 3. Seabound/Master of the Mountain, I couldn't choose between which one bcs I love both Nya and Cole as my second and third favourite characters and the season was amazing if you watch it closely 4. Oni Trilogy, I couldn't really say any season of this was better than the other 5. Rebooted, I loved how amazingly Zane was focused and his sacrifice was amazing 6. Crystallized, I love how the season was built up and how amazing the Overlord played out and him behind everything, it does have flaws but I still like it 7. Possession, I feel like it is better than I thought and am thinking of rewatching 8. Hands of Time, I like it even though its not amazing it has some amazing lore and best of all is Ray and Maya finally being found 9. Tournament of Elements, I like it but it didn't feel normal but it's still OK with Skylor and Chens plan and Garmadons history with Clouse and Misako 10. The Island, amazing visuals, scenes and amazing lore abt Wojira but not a good story and length 11. Legacy of Green Ninja, first part I slept through finale how they built up to the Overlord and the final battle was amazing 12. Prime Empire, didn't seem like Ninjago but I like how they focused Jay but it was not the best focus of Jay 13. Rise of the Snakes, good start but not amazing compared to other seasons but Garmadon vs Devourer outstanding 14. Pilots was amazing introduction but not amazing compared to other seasons 15. Day of the Departed, too short, bad story, Yang was less focused and the other villains were more focused, Cole could've been handled better like how they handled him him S13 but Earth Punch is the best power 16. Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu, I don't know what to say too many problems and the season didn't seem normal

I might get hate for this, but I 100% agree with you on Season 4 being the best season of all time. I feel like most people dislike it for no reason and it get a lot of hate that's not deserved. I could go on and on about this season but I won't to save everyone's sanity. This is STILL my favorite season since I started watching back in 2018. I was 7 and had just got to Tennessee for Summer Break when we arrived at the cabin we rented I saw something that intrigued me, Ninjago. I had hear of it but never watched it before. I know season 4 wasn't the season I should have watched first, but it felt right to me. It wasn't for a year later that I would become a fan of the show and I only remembered Zane, Chen, and Skylor so the first season Zane, being the only one I knew was my favorite. The problem with Hands of time & Day ofthe departed is because they were in production. The same time of the LEGO Ninjago movie The crew focused more hands on writing the movie then the show Day of the departed was supposed to be a second full season released in 2016 But because of the movie's production only 2 episode scripts wear written so they blended it into a 44min Special Another reason why the movie should not exist.

when you think about it though march of the oni is better a season as if all 4 episodes were condensed into 1 movie it would be as long as the dark knight rises nearly 3 hours long and I don't think kids are gonna sit through a 3 hour movie even if it is ninjago however I do think they should have done that im just saying in terms of marketing it was a smart choice but I DO wish they made it into a movie for the older fans

One of the best things that came out of Rebooted was the addition of Sensei Garmadon. I miss the days when we had Sensei Garmadon. Sure I also love the Pure Evil Garmadon with no emotions in the Oni Trilogy but I also really loved the wise Sensei Garmadon

lol prime empire is like the one season i will watch over and over again. i loved it i thought it was great and i just loved the episodes and the there outfits... except for super star rockin jay out fit.. that wasnt my fav lol but i loved the plot of the video game and i think jay has one of the best lines in this season .. idk lol it was just great in my opinion. alot of people hate filler episodes and mean yeah some reallly suck but i loved the ones in season 2 my favorite was double trouble it was just really funny. my top 5 are 1. skybound , for many reasons 2. sons of garmadon, i really liked how wu was a baby and how cole took care of him 3. prime empire... for the reasons i just said 4. tournament of elements, for the obviouse reasons 5.pilot episodes, cuz its where they first met and we got the feel for the show and i love how jay was the first to learn spinjitzu

My opinion changes all the time but that's my ranking for now, i think a lot will disagree: 18. Rise of The Snakes: Probably the only season I hate. its pretty solid watching it for the first time but a rewatch? Not so much, it just feels very boring and weird especially those fighting scenes. 17. Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu: The fire chapter mostly sucks while the ice chapter is good but not great, its really flawed but i dont mind it that much. Good fighting scenes tho. 16. Day of The Departed: Although i dont care about it that much, i think its kinda overhated like its pretty good, i think? 15. The Island: Same for DotD i like it but i dont care that much, i dont the understand the hate tho, i think it did what needed to be done and definitely shouldn't be longer bc that would be too boring. 14. Legacy of The Green Ninja: Like season 1, rewatching it kills half the fun, and fillers are meh but the rest is pretty solid. 13. Hands of time: Also a very overhated season, i understand where all the hate is coming from but i think its a good season. 12. Possession: Yeah so i think its overrated, dont get me wrong i love Possession its just not the best out there, kinda underwhelming to say the least. 11. Hunted: Same with Possession, just a lil better. 10. Master of The Mountain: I REALLY love this season, it could've been higher if the geckles and munce weren't so annoying, it ruined the season for me. 9. March of The Oni: This season is so underrated its so good especially the relationship between Lloyd and Garmadon, literally carries the whole season. 8. Rebooted: Another very underrated season, the love triangle sucks but it doesn't bother me that much, the rest is just so good and all the tecno vibes. 7. Tournament of Elements: There's literally nothing wrong with this season i just like a few season more than it. 6. Seabound: Love this season A LOT. 5. Skybound: I understand where people are coming from, but its such a good season imo i have very little to no problems with is. 4. Crystallized: I know i know, Crystallized has a lot of flaws and its nowhere near perfect, but most those flaws that ppl talk about dont bother me, and the ones that do bother me aren't a lot, i think its a very enjoyable season i like it very much although i know its kinda not good. 3. Prime Empire: Im not sure if this is the most underrated season or Crystallized but i think maybe its Prime Empire, i love everything about this season the visuals alone are so awesome, its just a very enjoyable season imo. 2. Dragons Rising S1: This season is just so good on so many levels its just not my No.1 Fav for a few reasons. When i watched the first few episodes i thought it might be my new fav bc of the vibes alone, they really reminded me of SoG, but those didn't last long. The villains are sometimes really annoying (or always, like Rapton and Dorama) Sometimes it becomes slow-paced like in the last couple of episodes i felt like a lot of time was wasted there. I really wasn't sure where to rank DR bc the story is still very not finished, i think second best is a good placement for now. 1. Sons of Garmadon: I dont think anything will ever top SoG, ITS SO GOOD I CANT SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SEASON. ( i didnt rate the pilot bc i only watched them like once after Crystallized ended in very low quality. I dont think i ever watched them as a kid bc i remember being confused at the episode "wrong time wrong place" I recently found them dubbed in my language but i dont think they ever aired on TV, or maybe they aired once and never again.)

Tournament of Elements (A cohesive season with a plethora of action to enjoy) 5. Skybound (The intro is a banger and Jay finally got a focus season) 6. March of The Oni (The Oni trilogy as a whole despite its few mishaps was outstanding) 7. Hunted (Great lore and Wu being at the forefront of the action? Sign me up) 8. Rebooted (If you can look past the love triangle then it's a solid season overall. This season has its haters and I'm fortunate to not be one of them) 9. Dragon's Rising (This season is great but far from being the best IMO) 10. Crystalized (The execution was questionable but another solid season overall)

March of the Oni was great, but there is such little information about the Oni compared to Dragons. Like where do the Oni live, season 9 made it clear they weren't in the 1st realm anymore. Also, why were they able to overpower the Dragons so easily, they are supposed to be evenly matched like the 1st Spinjitzu Master and the Overlord. Also kind of interesting that they can shapeshift, because why would a being that loves destruction need to shapeshift. I really want another episode or season of the Oni to know what they do all the time.

Dragons rising was awesome, in my opinion

I haven't finished watching Dragons Rising yet, although I really loved the first half and ig it will end up in my top 5 favorite seasons. But so far, my ranking is: 18. Day of the Departed I mean, it's kinda unfair to compare a Halloween special to full Ninjago seasons. DotD is obviously not on the same level, but I didn't expect it to be, so I don't hate it that much. I just never bothered to rewatch it since it's not enjoyable at all. 17. Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu. Honestly, never fully watched this since I got bored. Absolutely hated the filler episodes, the Ice chapter had some good storylines tho, even though the execution wasn't always perfect. A rough start for Wildbrain I guess. 16. Hands of Time I never liked this season, and when I found out about the behind the scenes mess, that made a lot of sense. It was the reason I stopped watching Ninjago for a while. Bad writing, only one or two nice episodes and overall just incredibly forgettable. 15. The Island It honestly hurts that I cannot put this any higher, since I genuinely believe this season had potential. If it only had one or two more episodes, it would've been so much better. Still salty about that Ronin plottwist. 14. Legacy of the Green Ninja Hated the first half, loved the second half. The filler episodes, as well as bringing the Serpentine back as villains, was just unnecessary and boring. The buildup to the final battle, as well as the battle itself, was great tho. 13. Crystalized Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't like Crystalized that much. It felt messy, too long and the issues with its release have also kinda ruined the experience for me. I can't deny there were some good moments, but I found the final episode to be really underwhelming. 12. Pilots The pilots kinda did everything right, but they were far less ambitious than later seasons in terms of storyline. They were pretty standard, but still enjoyable. I just think we should've seen more from the other ninja, since it was too much focused on Kai imo. That's probably my only point of criticism. I can't rank it any higher than this tho, because it was just a simple fun story and not a full on season imo. 11. Prime Empire Honestly a fine season, just not really for me I guess. I have never been a huge fan of more "technology-focused" Ninjago seasons and Jay isn't necessarily my favorite character, so it didn't really stand a chance to become one of my favorites. I do like the villain tho, and it was definitely a super creative season, but I don't think I'll rewatch it anytime soon. 10. Rebooted I think Rebooted is overhated. Wasn't a fan of the love triangle, but it didn't ruin the season for me. I thought the pacing was more of a problem, since some episodes felt rushed and others felt too slow. However, Enter the Digiverse remains my favorite Ninjago episode of all time, and The Titanium Ninja was the best final episode ever imo. 9. March of the Oni In my opinion, this was a better final season than Crystalized. It was a solid ending to the Oni and Dragons trilogy, even though it is my least favorite of the three seasons. I feel like its runtime has kept it from reaching its full potential, but it still had some great moments (especially between Lloyd and Garmadon). 8. Seabound Cool story, fun side characters, and it was about time Nya got her own season. It doesn't have a lot of weak points, but it isn't special to me either. Just a solid season. 7. Rise of the Snakes This season holds up really well to this day. The character development is insane, and honestly it forms a better introduction to the ninja than the pilots did. The Serpentine were great villains and there are so many plottwists and subplots, I just love this season. Ofc, there is a certain nostalgia aspect as well, but I genuinely believe Rise of the Snakes is really good. 6. Skybound Nadakhan is a great villain, Jay had some fantastic development here and there are many cool episodes. I also liked how the ninja got caught one by one. The stakes were high and the atmosphere was really good this season. I'm not the biggest fan of the ending, but I don't hate it either. Just a really overhated season that is pretty good imo. 5. Hunted Underrated season imo. The two storylines were both engaging, with some old characters being brought back (Skylor!!). It also had this darker tone which I really enjoyed. 4. Master of the Mountain My favorite Wildbrain season so far. Cole focus, cool setting, some great side characters and subplots and humor. Just didn't like Vanya (is that how her name's written-) that much. 3. Possession This season introduces so many new and exciting locations, as well as amazing villains (still think Morro is one of the best villains we've had). I also like how the focus shifted from Lloyd to some of the original ninja again, including Cole (finally lol) 2. Sons of Garmadon Such a good "reboot" for Ninjago, I absolutely enjoyed the darker tone, plottwists, animation style and storyline. This was also the first time I liked Lloyd as a character. 1. Tournament of Elements. It has great lore and worldbuilding, I found Chen and Clouse to be engaging villains, it introduced a lot of important and cool characters (the elemental masters) and the whole atmosphere of this season, combined with a bit of nostalgia, makes it my favorite. Even though I gotta say the last few episodes weren't as good as the first ones, maybe with the exception of The Corridor of Elders, it's still a fantastic season overall imo.

Prime empire is so underrated (every season of Jay is a top season) I mean prime empire story was not great like the villain and stuff but if you ignore it, the season was fire

Little disappointed for Crystalized to take a hit falling straight from 6th place to 9th place. Also Dragons Rising felt a bit low, but all in all. A good list.

19. Day Of The Departed Obviously the plot wasn't smth I enjoyed. Felt kinda rushed but its nice to see Cole getting his human form back 18.Secrets Of The Forbidden Spinjitzu While I prefer the ice chapter (except for that one weird episode) it just doesn't feel like a reasonable plot and I experienced Aspherra as annoying,however I LOVE the Forbidden scrolls 17.Hands Of Time The main villains were actually great but the other side villains didn't speak to me, I like the Kai/ Nya story. The animation was obviously not the best 16. Prime Empire I'm totally with you. I'm not a fan of video games and this felt like another series, I was excited to get a Jay season but for me: didn't really work out. 15.The Island Idk there's smth. I dearly love such as the visuals. The villain well tbh wasn't rly a villain but I love the suits 14.Pilots Nostalgic that's all I can say, I grew up with this. I started with this. It's for an amazing beginning into the story! We don't talk about the animation. 13.Legacy Of The Green Ninja Without a doubt the best finale in my opinion,loved the 2nd half. The first half was great to me when I first saw it because of all the moments but growing up I don't feel like watching the first half. 12.Skybound Maybe a bit surprising, again because Jay is my favorite character.I do love the story they made and Nadakhan is a great villain. However the season isn't rly relevant because of the ending. And for some reason I was never a fan of Nadakahn,probably because of the whole Nya situation. 11.Hunted I love the part that plays in Ninjago city and I also love the story in the first realm. However Iron Baron rly wasn't a great villain to me. It's sad because the final episode is definitely one of the best. 10.Rise Of The Snakes The way Ninjago started and it will always be nostalgic for sure. I love Pythor and I love the story with the search for the Fang Blades meanwhile the ninja unlocking their true potential.The mystery with the green ninja definitely had me back then as a kid trying to solve it with the ninjaXD 9.Rebooted What can I say? I love the Overlord and I rly don't see the hate on this season. For me it was amazing. Zane's sacrifice always gets to me. 8.Seabound So I wasn't the only one dreaming of an underwater season? I loved the visuals and the design sm The final in my opinion also one of the best! Very emotional especially the sacrifice. 7.March Of The Oni I'm such a fan of the oni and I loved the atmosphere of this season so much.The ending was a bit rushed but I was totally ok with it. However in my opinion the oni had more potential.the season was too short for that. 6.Crystalized Formerly my favorite season when it came outXD Well time changes opinions , but I never thought about hating on this season like others do.I dearly understand why others feel that way but I see this Season as very underrated and overhated. ofc it has his flaws. But for me it's a great ending for this saga. 5.Tournament of Elements Wait what? Yes I do love the story the visuals and the idea in general. I love Chen being crazy and smart however I rly. don't see Chen as one of the best. Without the staff he wouldn't be that interesting and the finale was alright for me. 4.Dragons Rising Season 1 The merge? I at first didn't know what to think about that but they did an AMAZING job.The chaos that happened in the season was just unique ,same with the atmosphere. The new characters and their development was amazing and the finale hyped me so much. Beatrix was a great villain! Amazing animation! Can't wait for 2024! 3.Master Of The Mountain Cole was never my favorite character but this season gave him time to shine and I absolutely loved the way they made this happen. The villain was decent. But in general this season is smth. I love 2.Sons Of Garmadon Amazing villains! Even tho they all are not that strong they are clever and smart. Harumi? I love her character. Then: Garmadon as a villain was just awesome to see. Such a special vibe for me! 1.Possession It will always be my favorite. I love the story. I love the finale and I love the villains.

What about the Dark Island Trilogy?

I just realized when in season 2 the ninja went back in time and destroyed the mega weapon Lloyd forgets the mega weapon existed, and the only reason Lloyd got older is because of the mega weapon, shouldn’t he have reverted back to child?

The reason why I love hands of time is it has an episode about Kai and Nina
