Finally! Thank you Tanner for doing this video. I unboxed my Maker 3 about a month ago and In EVERY video my screen was not matching what I was hearing! I thought I was just not getting it and I wondered if there was something I should have downloaded so my screen matched! Frustrating!! Wish Cricut would have identified a video to go to when they knew they had done these changes.

I maybe new but yesterday was on Cricut and thought why should I buy a silly thing to hold weeding bits. clean plastic margarine tub. .cut a cross in the top and did cut the tips off two of them..Perfect..

I have a Learning disability, and want to thank you for being very explanatory. I can only learn through video's or if the text is read to me specifically, via a reader on my computer or phone. Thank you!!! you're a very good teacher!!! I'm only using you for cricut learning...Hubby just bought me the cricut joy. I'll upgrade to the other's later. Thanks for the video. I just got my Cricut Maker today. I'm confused as to why the mat grid does not match the canvas grid on the screen. Why is that? What does it use to decide where to start the cut? Or does it just default to the left top corner?

Hi there, I am new to Cricut and am at the stage now that I am beginning to regret buying it. I have watched so many "Beginners" videos on here that I don't even know where to start. Everyone seems to start with previously uploaded images to do a project, NOBODY seems to start from scratch showing where these images originated from. I also see that to get access to most of Cricut fonts/images we have to subscribe. Well, I think I paid enough for the machine, without having to pay more for fonts. I therefore, would prefer to do my own and upload to a project. However, like I previously mentioned, NOBODY seems to want to show us the real "basics", only what they already have in their library. Beginners are just that, beginners, so most of the "jargon" is foreign and needs a proper explanation. We don't want to hear things like "let's say you want to do this" .. well me "might" want to do it if we were shown proper tutorials on how the "let's say you want to do this" thing got there in the first place. Does this make sense? Also, if these so called basic things were mastered, nobody seems to indicate what materials are best for which project. Thanks for listening, apologies for the rant, but it is so frustrating with people who are so experienced, doing "beginners" tutorials that make zero sense to a beginner

Have you tried searching for a specific task rather than a general “for beginners” video? I know Jennifer maker has a blog and videos of how to upload your own SVGs and such. Or you could also try to search “how to upload your own font into design space” You might have better luck searching the specifics.

KZfaq videos aren’t the end all be all. Suggest you seek out a local group of crafters, visit a maker space, or public library with a lab if you have the means. Otherwise it sounds like you haven’t tired the training material on the Cricut website. It covers material use and beginner terminology.

Thanks for all your great videos! I’m a newbie and can’t figure out how to upload multiple files to design space at a time…is possible to upload a bunch at once? (Example, I bought a project on Etsy and it had 26 svgs. I had to upload all individually).

Good question. I've not really thought about doing that. I keep my files on my hard drive and generally upload them by theme into design space. I like to checkout what the file looks like. I don't like to have files that I know I won't use cluttering my design space. Just my thoughts

I'm seeing the same questions that I am asking too. There is something I'm missing I got the explorer, I have what did one test project on it and can't get it to do anything else. The design space to me is just a crazy mess. I'm wondering if the differences I'm using the tablet and not a computer? I'm about to return it.

Can you upload a JEG SVG PDF into Cricut design space and then make stickers out of differnt parts of the file vs having to make 1 big sticker out of the whole image? If so do you have a video on how to do so? I am trying to use the sticker printables PDF from my Bible Study, which I can convert into a JEG or SVG but a SVG has issues with having areas I dont want cutted out set to cut out, into sperate stickers. I knopw how to take text or an individual image and make it into a sticker, but I dont know how to use one image into differnt stickers. And taking the PDF into Gimp and make each its own image and then add it to Cricut design space sounds like a nightmare.
