Tanya is one of the very best female artists ever to come out of Jamaica. She is an exceptionally very good writer. However, she is boring mainly because she tries to be a soul singer instead of a reggae singer. American soul artist do not try to be reggae artists, so why do Jamaican artist think they should try to imitate them. Tanya you can do better than this. I've been waiting years for you to equal or better your Gangsta Blues Album. But so far, you are falling short.

She tells stories. You're looking for hooks. Not every song has to be a reggae song. As for waiting for her better an album you liked a lot ... we can say that about some of the biggest legends in reggae .... can't we ???

I’m confused. The people that you would classed as not boring are the people that sing a line and “wheel and come again”. This is a proper artiste and in order to appreciate her you have to have a mature and grown mindset. This is like the caviar of music. It’s an acquired taste. But then again what do I know?
