Tanzania | Walking safari Anyone? - Day Trip to Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is located about 50 Km away from the city depending on where you are. This makes it perfect for a day trip. What I love about this park is the variety of activities you can do in the park. Walking safaris, Biking, Horse riding, Canoeing and regular game drives. And my favorite is the walking safari because of the freedom and interaction it offers with the wildlife and its surroundings.
For this safari I self organized making the price point more affordable for me and two other guests I shared an Airbnb with.
I would totally recommend the walking Safari in Arusha National Park - its very educative and an enjoyable hike especially with the right guide. Our guide / ally_ibn_ashour was great

I went there on a day trip with the children from a pre primary school I was working at in Arusha a couple of years ago. It was a fun day out. You can just imagine how excited the kids were to see giraffes up close. I remember their shouts of "Twwwiiiiigggaaaa" to this day. Best money I ever spent!

Oh yes I picture my nieces and nephews and I know they would go wild with excitement. Can't wait to do it with them.

@Maurice Apollo thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

I think I will never get tired of seeing and hearing wildlife. Arusha national park is the 4th park I visited in Tanzania. As soon as the giraffes showed up all the excitement started all over again

Nice one! I visited the Park during school field trip in the 80’s and camped in the park for 2 days. We took shower on the area around waterfall. Amazing!

It is funny I took everything for granted when I was going to a boarding school not far from Mount Meru. Your Tanzania videos are the best I have seen on KZfaq

Thanks a lot for the feedback. It is only natural that when we live somewhere we sometimes do not notice or appreciate what is around us especially if people don't speak ill of the place. So next time when you have the opportunity go check it out :-)
