Tapasya episode 29
This episode focusses on the mutual inspiration of the students and teacher. It is the role of a teacher to sow the seed of inspiration in the student...
But, the student takes it only when she is ready to...
Until then, it is best to patiently wait...!
Tapasya - the training sessions, is a series of videos that will be published on a monthly basis (as episodes) on the last day of every month.
The students featuring in Tapasya series have about 6-8 classes every month. Each episode of Tapasya is a cumulative overview of what is taught to them during the course of the month.
Along with the training sessions of the children, Tapasya also holds inputs on teaching techniques from Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan and useful tips from the regular performers of Sridevi Nrithyalaya.

I started at 40,kathak,doing pretty well infact topping it.There is no age,its in the mind and self motivation tht you can do it.Dnt rush,work hard,Im half way through,3 more years(total6):)Practice religiously,I think of my dance and dance teacher as God.

They are so beautiful and talented. I've watched dance videos and I love this style. Watching them learn it, you see how complex and physically demanding it is. This is such a great way to teach discipline, confidence and how to express yourself through art. I really enjoyed this so much ♥️✌🏻

They should inculcate this in the school curriculum. When the body is disciplined, the mind and soul will automatically follow. Kids who are trained in such inspiring arts in childhood don´t spend their teen years hanging around with idiotic friends.

I started dance school first 2 .5 years finished my vidhvath by 7 years. Had to leave dance since father's transferable job. Later join for dance drama practice. Bell ur sisters came for my requirement. I Dedicate to Una mam. Good job mam

There ought to be more dedication to these art forms in Northern India, too. Stop chasing the meaningless Indian Idol status... our ancient culture is irreplaceable and magnificent, and it is up to us to keep it alive! PS: these girls are all so beautiful, talented and very disciplined... great school... I wish I had had access to something like this in my childhood.

The Indian head wobble is a very common nonverbal communication! It's adorable, the meanings shift, and all ages do it

@@elisa6212 sometimes it's just an acknowledgement, "okay, fine". Sometimes it's used when they don't agree, but don't want to dissent "would you take $10 instead of $20 ?" Also used by speakers when they can't think of the English word. It's lovely!!
