Fading Steps
- Set in guideline with 0 lever closed
- lever open set in next guideline
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 1.5, 2 , guard blend up
- Clipper over comb
- Blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard 3qtr
- Blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
- Open lever half way, continue blending
- Continue blending with lever open
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

Thank you for another video. Perfect for men with long hair with summer coming it’s definitely became more popular recently after lockdowns men loving the long hair. A technique I use on men’s long curly hair when they wear it down is to do dry curl cuts so you see the way the hair will sit when It dries 👍

The only way you will give yourself a bad cut with this tutorial is solely the trial and error process. I put this tutorial on for every cut. As I cut my hair, i get better every time. Cutting hair is a process of patience and if you can’t hold your arms up for long periods or if you aren’t ambidextrous or good with both hands, be patient. The more practice the better you become. It also helps to have a decent pair of clippers. I know people who have been incarcerated that can use a bic and comb to cut, but get a good pair of clippers if you’re cutting yourself, the barbers do for a reason.

i think you need to shape the line slightly higher up on the back ear area so it doesnt look like a beanie and sleaker line. looks bulky too around that area from all angles
