What sense would there be in Jesus’ sayings, if he and his God and Father were the same person, literally? Would Jesus have been so fake - would he, on earth, have prayed to His Father in the heavens, pretending he was someone else, asking himself for help, praising himself, telling himself how much he loved himself, or saying, Yet let not my will, but your will be done? Or, likewise, would Jehovah have lied to or tried to deceive the apostle John and then others, when, at Jesus’ baptism, by His Holy Spirit/ active force, God called-out, from the heavens, This is my Son, of whom I have approved. Listen to him? Was God just talking about Himself - was it all just a trick and show, for nothing? There are MANY other scriptural examples, proofs, prophecies and reasons why is it is definitely true that Jesus and His Father Jehovah are two separate, distinctly different persons. In order to please both our God Jehovah, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we need to take in accurate scriptural knowledge about each of them. (John 17:3) We need to worship and obey Jehovah/ Yahweh the Creator as God alone, “with spirit and truth” (John 4:24), just like Jesus Christ himself did and taught us to. We need to obey them both - and everything Jesus taught was from his Father. (John 3:16 AND 3:36) Jesus has now been installed as God’s appointed King of His Kingdom in the heavens. He has been in that position, as earth’s highest reigning King, since 1914/ 1918. Those with eyes of faith see him as that already. Together, Farher and Son are now preparing for Armageddon. They are helping the preaching work of God’s good news of His Kingdom - and also God’s scriptural judgment and warning messages - to be completed by God’s true scriptural messengers/ worshipers/ servants on earth. They are directing angels to help them too.
