You are amazing!!!! The energy that you send out is contagious. I am a salsa dance teacher trying to learn tap dance to improve my footwork. What you are suggesting can be applied to any dance form and I really love your approach. Thanks for your amazing videos ! For ever your student ;) Gio . By the way I would like to request is you could please teach us how to do Moses supposes in a series of videos that would be my dream dance routine. I have seen some people breaking the steps down on KZfaq but would love to learn it from you . Just a though;) Thanks!!!!!!

My tap teacher would have us do an improv circle at the end of class every week. I would always get super nervous!! This video is super helpful. Thank you so much!!

I am so happy that this can help! Improv circles can be so nerve wracking but once you learn to find the 8, it gets easier :)

Fine improvisation video. Could you tell something about waltz improvisation. I found it very difficult. That would be fine.

Thanks for the improv video! Sometimes I feel that some improv tap dance videos I have watched are out of the beat, out of the song rhythm.!? Do you think know how to play an instrument and to read music sheets helps the tap dance improv learning? If yes, any specific instrument? Please bring more improv videos correlating tap dance steps. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I will definitely be doing more videos on improv! I think it helps me, but it all depends on how you interpret tap. I know that understanding music helps you know when bars end and how to cadence into different sections of a song. But reading music may not help everyone. I see tap dance visually as written out rhythm, so it really helps me, but I may in fact see tap that way *because* I read music, so idk! :) Good question!
