When I feel real grieving, I am so happy because that is the time I feel most human, knowing how much I care, and I realize that I am on the precipice of acceptance and a heart opening. Grieving, for whatever is, is the validation that we are on the road to healing.

Tara, “Not hope, but faith. I don't believe in hope; hope is a beggar. Hope walks through the fire, and faith leaps over it.” -Jim Carey…. So, I’ve carried these words in my spiritual toolbox for some time now. & today, as I’ve been listening to this video, you’ve offered me another unique perspective on hope. I practice, of course, not adopting any one thing as the “only truth.” I stay open to new ways of perceiving this reality & I choose to carry the teachings that resonate with my heart. If i feel it’s time to let go of a teaching to make space for a new version, then, so be it. I felt called to clarify that, so my Intentions are a bit more clear in sharing this. If it is you will, I’d love to hear your thoughts/feelings on this infamous quote by Mr. Carrey. Lastly, one of my favorite spoken word poets, Buddy Wakefield… shares a poem on TED entitled “free air.” If you haven’t watched it, I highly encourage you to check it out on KZfaq. Anyway, in this poem , he says… “I’ve searched my whole life hopelessly searching for ways to fix all the things I thought were wrong with me… hope… is not a course of action.” That said, I’m going to sit with “wise hope.” … I’m inviting the wisdom of my intuition to show me what that looks like for my consciousness. Thank you, as always, for your magick & medicine. I’ve shared RAIN with many of my clients & community members.. it’s helped us all tremendously. I feel the sorrow of the world so deeply and I felt so alone in this. If I try to talk to someone about war refugees or hate crimes I get the "deer in the headlights look". This really did give me a way to begin again. Just knowing that Tara and others have a plan makes my heart glad and makes me feel safer.

Tara, during the last few years I have become your follower and advocate. In regards to your present talk about wise or spiritual hope I am learning that this kind of hope is only possible through believing in a higher power and a believe system which connects us to those Manifestations of higher source such as Buddha, Christ, Mohammad, and in my case Baha'u'llah ( The Founder of the Baha'i Faith). These believes does do include religious dogmas and ideologists added to the essence of spiritual believes by the leaders or the followers of these religions. I believe if we do not connect to these sources of enlightenment (God's representatives on earth), our hopes and wishes become materialistic and in search of material possessions and power. Material existence divide us, whereas true spirituality connects us and creates energy and hope. I hope I understand your message of wise hope correctly... Thank you for all your messages of hope and healing...

Looking around im not sure if theres any heightening of collective awareness.. rather its an ongoing fluctuation - some periods are better (from some angle) and others worse. Theres cultural development in the sense that more information is gathered through applying the scientific method but a lot of knowledge and wisdom is also lost. The human ape is a walking contradiction: literally reaching for the stars but simultaneously having trouble keeping its head above the water..
