About the scene that Sam uses kisses to apologize to Jim, actually in the novel it said that Jim had a crush on Sam when they were teenagers and Jim even confessed to Sam. They didn’t made this clear in the series but kept some lines for Jim that might seem confusing for people who haven’t read the novel(I noticed several times in your reactions when you felt confused about those lines). Like that time Jim said something like I felt jealous but if it’s Mon I’m ok with it. In the novel Jim always calls Sam “husband” in a playful way which I found quite funny. It’s a little pity that they didn’t put these in the series.

Am I the only one who thinks It’s so rude and disrespectful, he proposed at Jim’s wedding? He completely made a night that supposed to be about the Newly Weds, and made it about himself. Sam just doesn't quite understand when Kirk had gotten that friendly with her Mon to be the one to drive her and Yuki there. He was never at their gatherings, and she most proably never mentioned anything to him, the fact that he knew Mon was invited could be strange to her I think, so she went into a mild protect mode. But to be honest, I believe Sam would question anyone who gets close to Mon 😂 Sam is the queen of mixed signals. She can't talk about difficult stuff and be honest with her feelings, and she hides that by instinctively putting up a front. Now her instinct is fighting to show love but she wants Mon too much, so it becomes very confusing when sometimes she seems very sweet and then other times she is acting like wtf.

Massive Tangent and my soft spot for Khun Sam For some reason, I seem to truly empathize with Khun Sam's mentality a lot as to why she is the way she is. Why she is so mean and bossy to people and not letting people get too close to her. I think she mirrors a lot of her grandma's traits in that sense. She keeps people from a distance because then she won't get hurt. That if she was the one to do the hurting then it won't hurt as much. In a way, she feels as though she has some form of control over something because she was the one who had made that decision to act that way, despite it being good or bad, e.g. Her work life, friendships, relationships, etc. In her personal life, she doesn't seem to have that control because her grandma seems to be the one that dictates her life, from who she should marry to what she is expected to do. So I think that is why she is so controlling and bossy at work and with her relationships. It is like her way of reclaiming that power back. I honestly feel Khun Sam's pain a lot, as to why she seems to have become so distant in Ep. 7 teasers. I think because she knows she doesn't have the courage yet to go against her grandmother's wishes and wants. She believes that she should leave Mon than string her along and hurt her even more. Especially, how Mon kept on asking her what she is to her or/and what Khun Sam's feelings towards her are but Khun Sam can't seem to give her a straight response as to how she feels towards Mon and constantly beat around the brushes because she knows she doesn't have the courage yet to fight for their love. If she was to voice what she feels. 'Then what' kind of situation because she knows she doesn't have the heart to go against her grandma yet. So her being ambivalent and keeping it on the down low with Mon allows her to live in this fantasy that she has some form of control but in reality, she doesn't. In ep. 6, she kept on saying, "I am sorry, I won't do anything to hurt you. I won't do it again. Etc" and a couple of moments later she unwillingly hurts Mon again, like it seems to genuinely break her heart to know she feels helpless to fight for her love for Mon. That she feels helpless to do anything because she knows she needs to comply and agree with what has been set for her by her grandma. So she thinks it's best to just end it (e.g being cold and distant towards Mon) before it gets too painful. But it is like a double edge sword, you get hurt both ways. That she would prefer for Mon to hate her than to love her, despite how she feels towards Mon. She would rather be the one hurting and hated by Mon than hurt and be loved by Mon and can't do anything to fight for her yet. It just reminds me of the music video, "Haru Haru" by Big Bang. How the girl was going to die so instead of seeing her partner suffer because she was going to die. She breaks up with him and dates one of his friends. Just so he can "hate her" hurt than for him to "miss her" hurt when she is gone. For, she believes that would be easier for him to move on. Psychologically, we seem to make decisions on behalf of our partner based on what we believe is best for them but in the end, it hurts just as much or sometimes even more so.

oh Tara Tara Tara, are you doing okay waiting now? HAHAHA well, you have us and we're gonna have to wait together for the new episode. Anyway, I feel like this episode is a bit incoherent because I guess they cut too much detrimental things. Plus, there are things that are just lost in translations. Like when Sam googling how to make up with Mon, I don't think it's with girlfriend/lover...more like with a friend who happens to be a girl. Mon stays with Sam now since the lips biting game I guess, but the night before Sam's birthday I'm guess she didn't. Also the day after Mon finds out Sam kissed Jim, Mon obviously didn't stay at Sam's. If you remember last episode where Noi and other coworkers interrogated Mon about how Sam always had her doing everything at work even, they thought Sam won't let her go cuz she's monitoring the mole, which they suspect she's still suspecting Mon. Sam makes Mon following her around, like her number 2 at work. They're always together. Thus, Mon was flexing she was technically with Sam almost 24/7 unlike how Jim thought. This show always has unexpected things huh.. First episode 5 with too much kissing that honestly came out of nowhere. Now, the last scene is so heartbreaking. I didn't cry but I felt Mon's heartache, I guess.. Also, I felt the immense pressure Sam was absolutely under. Sam definitely couldn't say no in front of many of both her and Krik's relatives. Sheesh, I don't understand Krik at all. Episode 1 and 2, he was soo goood and supportive, but then in episode 4 he pressured Sam, and now he wore white and proposed to someone at someone else's wedding. Also, if you remember episode 1 where Sam fired a couple.. Yha was the one who was aware of that secret relationship while the others only found out that day. I find it very interesting. Especially when Yha is Mon's direct supervisor/internship mentor. Just.. interesting. So sad that when Mon is starting to figure out her own feelings and desires for Sam is totally romantic, she also is starting to be aware of the whole situation between her and Sam. She's feeling the gap between them now. Like how Mon couldn't even tell how Sam is feeling, what kind of affection Sam holds to her, whether it was similar to hers, etc. Then the whole Krik fiasco. It's like Mon is trying to put a name on labels Sam keep giving on their relationship, cuz Sam always progressing with their relationship but Mon is confused about what they are. So funny and sad. We can tell that Nita's target is Sam based on the first scene we had with her when she bit her lips looking at Sam's photo. But then, after meeting Mon, why do I think Nita now has new interest in Mon as well. This subplot is not from the novel, so I have no guess. What I want is Krik stays a jerk like he is in the novel but Nita is a good partner instead for Sam's company. Or maybe you know, we see more of Sam's jealousy cuz Nita wants Mon, too. LOL. That's just what I want. sorry for the usual long comment. I just love your reactions!

I agree that Sam may not fire Mon over the number of followers on Diversity Pop. I think the only reason for Mon to be removed from the company, whether by her own resignation or being fired is because of Sam's company rule about no relationships and no dating between employees in the company. We know technically, Sam and Kirk are not dating from her perspective. She's only engaged to him for appearances sake + because of her grandmother and not because she's wants or is in a romantic relationship with him. I do think though, if Sam and Mon are together in a relationship, Mon can still be a great asset in her company in the long run, because Sam herself has said Mon is good at what she does in content creation. We know they studied the same degree and that they can work well together becoz of those scenes where they worked together on the content planning for Diversity Pop. I can absolutely see Mon working with Sam much closer down the line once she has more experience (coz she's still a trainee now) to do this kind of work at a strategic level for the company's clients. I can totally relate to those scenes and what they were doing together becoz I have some professional experience in digital + social media marketing, content management and content development strategies. I hope Mon does stay with the company, that even if at some point she has to leave, she'll be able to return to work with Sam.
