Alongside Attenborough, Dan has the absolute best accent for documentaries.

There's no greater example of Victorian Gothic, than this fantastic building, in my opinion.

Personally, I prefer the palace of Westminster or even st Giles (r.c) cheadle. Even so, the st Pancras is truly incredible; I must agree

I have so many of Dan Cruickshank books, I really wish I could meet him. He is the history lecturer I would have loved to have had when I was at university.

One thing that I don’t like about Victorian gothic is the striped look between layers of dark and light stone. To my eyes it detracts from the beautiful gothic architecture. Just my own opinion.
